I feel the exact same way...... and my beard gets caught in my jacket zipper too, hurts like a mofo!!!!
Both my pea coat and snow jacket catch my beard, shits annoying. I just do my best to avoid it growing too much for all the reasons u mentioned.

It's pretty itchy when it's growing in. After that it's fine.

I haven't shaved in probably 10 years. I just trim it with clippers and keep a permanent 5 o'clock shadow

Shave your neck man. There should be a space between your beard and your Adam's Apple

Clean it good and condition it and it won't itch.

I used to feel the same way. Then I turned 17

My skin gets irritated every time I shave. That's why I don't shave anymore. It's been a few years since my face has been completely clean shaved. I do trim it up when going to important functions like a job interview or a wedding. Also, my wife likes beards, so it's staying.

Can only grow a stache due to H2S at work.

Beards are sexy. My husband has had a beard since we first met 12 years ago. He surprised me by shaving it once during this time, and it really disturbed me. I tried to hide my sad expression every time I looked at him. Thank God it grew back pretty quickly.

My beard used to get itchy, but I guess my skin got used to it. I've been having it for 5+ years. I usually trim it down to a 7 every week or two.
I shave my neck, so I don't have any issues with zippers.

Pretty much every guy with a beard has no choice. If he cut the beard off people would see his weak effeminate jawline. That's why shaving is so manly

I do it by not being a pussy.

When your balls itch, do you ponder cutting them off?

So lift your chin up?

Because your skin was dry. Beard oil helps. Beard shampoo is even better.

it is only aggravating while its short and stiff, after it gets longer it softens and feels like the hair on top of your head.
once its over 3/8" long, it stops feeling stiff and prickly all the time

Not even gonna ask.

The itching goes away. If you only have stubble after 3 weeks, you probably can't grow a full beard.
Tip, let it grow for 4 - 6 weeks without shaving or shaping and then you can shape it the way you want.

I have not shaved in 22 years, and never once have I had an issue with my beard. It never bothered any woman I dated. It never bothered my wife.
The issue is likely you being some sort of girl.
