That are way less smaller and less destructive because they use, you know, math, and not subjective eyeball tests.

What disparity? The West is just as solid as the East. Did you already forget that pounding Iowa put on OSU? Did you forget that Wisconsin had an undefeated regular season? Did you forget the Big Ten went 7-1 in bowls with the West teams winning all their games and the one loss coming from Michigan in the East?

Nobody from the SEC should be talking about unbalanced divisions. Not with that crap fest that is the SEC East (sans Georgia) in your conference.

Well yeah, it's easier when you only have 2 conferences as opposed to 10 (plus 4 independents).

OK, using NFL math, Alabama is the SEC West champion and should have represented the division as such in the SEC Championship Game, thus relegating the Iron Bowl as meaningless tripe.

Rest the starters for that rivalry game. Make it like that really awesome Cowboys-Eagles finale last week.

That math that allows teams with worse records in the playoffs than teams over better records.

I'd like to see you show your work on that math.

Subjective/eyeball is on par with arbitrary, so there's that.

No problem with that.

Bama fans should've been bitching about Auburn having a worse record and still going to Atlanta but they didn't.

I wonder why?

Thing is you can't argue against numbers, you can argue against human reasoning and subjective eyeball tests that make up the basis of playoff selection.

NO shite

Typical NFLer and it points out all the worst in these playoff fanatics.

Turn the Iron Bowl into a meaningless game all for the sake of the sanctity of muh playoffs. That little game those Buckeyes and Wolverines play? Rest the starters if one already has the division sewn up.

Same goobers that compare a Sun Belt championship with a SEC or B1G championship. Can't do anything but shrug your shoulders.

SEC East Record Sans Georgia - 36 - 38
Big Ten West Record Sans Wisconsin - 36 - 39

The Big Ten had to play better teams, so that record is misleading.

Please show your math in those numbers.
