He has a chance to win 10 in his first year and his first recruiting class is solid.

Melt harder kid.

I love how none of those things mentions any specifics of what O brings to our football team.

He's a local, gets people go come here, will do something great somehow, will do another thing above average, and he's going to impregnate you with his yaw yaw seed.

...wait. What the hell is a Tigard?

I keep hearing people in here dont support Coach O.

I rarely see this. I do read where people question the hire and some of his decisions.
Questioning the W-L record and the recruiting score comes with the territory, no matter who the coach is, much less when you are paying 2 HC's at the same time.

If anything there seems to be alot of Coach O prick licking going on in here.
What has he done in 1.5 years as the HC, that is so great?

We'll know after the 2019 season. Until then, lets support him and the players.

Lets hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.

Ok Sorry about you being blind .

As far as a local hero just watch he’ll be up there with Tom Benson and Bobby Hebert soon

He was a punching bag/butt of every joke among LSU fans until we hired him as DL coach.

icegator337 nailed this. Canada's history shows success, but he bounces around with jobs. If his personality was a problem, then where was the vetting process in his hire. LSU pays him very well and will be on the hook for more. Alleva's future is tied to the O hire....plain and simple. I support O because he is the FB HC at LSU...period.

Hero? How so.
quote:

2) he’s a great recruiter , and will continue to get the players we need .

So was our previous coach.

quote:

3) he will be the next coach to beat Bama .

The current coach, whoever he is, is the most likely to do that
quote:

4) He will give us a 10 win season this year , and get us to the playoffs next season.

Maybe and maybe

5) He is a man , he’s not like you crybaby pussies that post on here .

Meet me at Sonic

There is one reason to support O or anyone in his postion, because he is the LSU head football coach.

10 wins isn’t all that when you have 13 games and play 7 teams with 6 or less wins.

We are 2-3 against teams with records over .500.

We have a losing record against teams that have a winning record.
