Top 20 Posters of the OT 2017

As we approach the final days of 2017, I would like to take a moment to recognize the top posters of the year.

Each of us contributes in our own special way. For some, that means bringing interesting, unique, or funny takes. For others, that means acting borderline retarded. Regardless of which group you fall into, just know that you matter - to someone, somewhere, maybe. Post count, popularity, and having a vagina, are not important. Neither is being likable, by me or anyone else. Unfortunately, with only 20 top spots and 25 honorable mentions, there will inevitably be some good posters left out. There will also be some horrendous posters left out.


Without further ado, here’s the list (in alphabetical order):

BigPerm30
Highly underrated. Ya boy perm is a quality not quantity type dude. He been top tier for a while now but hasn’t been getting the accolades n shite. So I'm puttin respeck on his name.

Bluefin
Underrated and one of the funnier posters on the OT.

Cosmo
I’m not sure how, but he manages to fly under the radar. Sometimes when you perform at such a high level for such a long time, people will take you for granted. He’s like the Les Miles of the OT. But more clever. And doesn’t take a heartbreaking L every year to his rival.

Displaced
Always showed good consistency but turned up the savagery to a new level in the latter part of 2017. Probably tops the list for savagery per post (SPP). Dude stays going hard in the paint. Every quarter the fourth quarter for this mf.

Festus
Top tier for sure. Unfortunately for the OT, he too often spends his time in Lunch Thrays.

goldennugget
He was a man before his time. A visionary who carried the OT (kicking and screaming) into a new world where men can be men again. I don’t know what did him in, what finally blew out the candle on a legendary era (he probably said something about Jews but that's neither here nor there). I'd like to take a moment to recognize a fallen hero. Like a shooting star, you can't always explain it, but you know it's special when you see it. The OT was a better place with Golden Nugget in it. And we're all better people for having known him. It's been a long day without you, my friend. And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again.

HempHead
Maybe the smartest poster on the OT, and surprisingly versatile. He spends most of his time dropping truth bombs on the Poli Talk board, but still finds time to hang out in the OT and stunt on dudes. He should be more popular than he is. But I’m not even sure what that means.

hendersonshands
Classic top tier poster. Comes and goes as he pleases but still brings the goods at a high rate.

Jones
Been consistently up at the top, or near it, for a while now. Brings that low key, subtle savagery from time to time.

LNCHBOX
You’re probably wondering wtf is going on here. Fair question. Lunch’s posting style can have you wondering why he’s arguing with you, and make you want to strangle him in his minivan. So what’s he doing here, you ask? Well, he’s top tier. That’s what he’s doing here. It’s not unusual to see Lunch bullying his way through 10-page threads, shitting on dudes. Sometimes you want to slap him, other times it’s beautiful to watch. We may not agree on virtually anything, but I can respect his hustle.

LouisianaLady
One of the few broads on the OT who doesn’t rely on being a broad to get her message across. She didn’t make this list for the sake of diversity (we already have LNCHBOX for that), she made it because she’s top tier and has less of a pussy than half the dudes here.

LucasP
I continue to celebrate his entire catalog. He’s not for everyone, and it’s still confusing when he says something he means, but he’s carved out a niche for himself and he owns tf out of that niche.

OneMoreTime
His goods per post (GPP) rate is high af. For the sake of the OT he should post more on the OT.

Oweo
The most controversial pick. His mere presence triggers half the OT. This guy takes an absolute beating everyday but shows no signs of stopping. Continuing to hit back. He has a Trump-like quality to him - and I mean that as a compliment. He could start a thread accurately announcing the return of Christ and he'd get hit with 100+ downvotes. That type of resilience is to be commended and admired.

OWLFAN86
His first half of the year was pretty horrendous, but he came back like Kobe in the 2nd half. He’s near the top of the top tier when he's on his game, ventures out of the lunch thrays and isn’t creeping on females. If you’re looking for him, he’ll be the guy chasing around Oweo, playing grab arse all over the OT.

Pettifogger
Underrated because his style isn’t attention-grabbing. But consistently brings solid, intelligent takes.

Salmon
One of the more thoughtful posters. Similar style to Pettifogger. I suspect he voted for Hillary, or at least considered it, but he still consistently offers solid takes.

Supersaint
He’s in his prime. Unfortunately for Saint, the system always trying to hold a brother down. Trying to put away all our good white men. I don’t know if the rumors are true but I know he dindu nuffin. I also know he was on his way to class at comrunity college, trying to do right, when he got jammed up. #FreeSS

Terd Ferguson
Isn’t around as much as he used to be but he top tier for sure. He could go full TigerBait2008 for half the year and gutterball every post, and probably still make this list just based on the other half of the year. Which is saying something.

Upgrayedd
Brings the goods at a consistent rate. Maybe the most active poster on the list. Might be the most versatile as well.

Upperdecker
One of the leading anti-fat voices on the OT. Doesn’t get triggered by topics he doesn’t agree with. He’s basically just not a pussy. He also consistently brings solid takes and is pretty underrated.

So Apparently Grown Men Are Still Wearing RL/Polo Shirts

To say he rustled jimmies would be a glorious understatement. He straight up nuked the collective jimmies of the OT. Never have I seen such a thing. And the mob responded in kind. They rose up in their polos and downvoted tf out your boy RFK. It was truly incredible to witness. Whether or not you agree with his opinion, you can't help but appreciate RFK putting himself out there and continuing to go hard af when the pitchforks came out.

Rhino67: Gonna be on JIM CRAMER'S show today

Not only did Rhino67 make the bold arse claim that he'd be on Jim Cramer's Mad Money, he came through like a mf and went legend. He also left Cramer stunned and left everyone else wondering wtf they just heard. Well done baw.
