Looks like Dabo was telling recruits that urban Meyer is "on back end of his career"

Coaches constantly told recruits that Bowden was going to retire next year in recruiting against FSU.
Harbaugh told recruits that Carroll was going to the NFL next year when he got to Stanford.
It's common practice.
And it's not much of lie...it's not saying he is retiring or is taking an NFL job. Dabo is saying his opinion.

That was kind of my thought as well. How often does Urban and everyone else tell a recruit that "they're the guy" only to have him rot on the bench when a better player signs? Antonio Williams at OSU comes to mind (and yes, I'm still triggered by that).

Also if Dabo believed that Clemson was truly a better place for the kid, then wouldn’t the Christian thing to do be lie to him for his own good?
