Looking to get some Christmas presents for the kids of some of our neighbors. I would rather get them books or educational games rather than video games etc. They are big fans of the Captain Underwear series of books but have read them all. I was thinking of getting them the Mouse and the Motorcycle books but was wondering what are the popular book series for elementary age kids. Tia.

My son loves the “I Survived Books.” He’s 8 and has no problem reading them. They’re about events in history

I Survived Books

You can get them pretty cheap on Amazon.

My daughter is 6 and likes the Pinkalicious Books Fancy Yancy

My kid hasn’t been reading the Bad Kitty series. Entertaining books and decent level for an 8 year old.
