What are you getting your mother for Christmas?

Nothing, likely. We (mom, sister, brother) don't exchange gifts anymore.

I got mine the complete series of Downton Abbey

Her favorite bottle of wine or liquor is usually a winner.

Some Persol sunglasses because she just broke her other ones. And I bought everyone in my family Airpods so I wouldn't have to do any real shopping.

Kids are pitching in and buying my parent a trip to NYC for Christmas. Mom's always wanted to go, dad couldn't care less but a vendor my brother buys from has told him he will hook my dad up for a day of golf at Bethpage Black, which actually makes me wanna go with him. lol

I don't know where else you can get them except the commissary, but if you can find the Nurenburg chests...it's a decorated metal chest filled with all sorts of German cookies and the like...

My mother is the only person I haven't bought for yet. She is one of those people that is so easy to buy for that it's hard. She likes everything, so nothing really seems all that special.

My SO's mother is the same way. We usually end up getting them stuff from local gift shops, which is nice, but not necessarily special.
