Thoughts on this LSU Hat?

My nephew asked me to get him this LSU hat for Christmas: 
I'm not really a fan of this hat but he's 10 yrs old. Should I try and steer him in the direction of a more OT approved hat?
On the plus side though, my BIL went to Dartmouth and pretty much hates anything to do with LSU, so getting his son anything LSU related is a plus... Even this ugly arse hat.

I wouldn't expect to see it on a grown man, but it very much looks like a hat a 10 year old boy would love. Get him the hat he wants. At least it's not flat bill.

I like the logo...wouldn't wear that style of cap as an adult, but no problem with it for a 10 YO...

What's wrong with that hat? I'm not a fan of purple or yellow hats but the design seems nice. Low profile, curved bill, and classic logo.
