This is a weird thread. It occupies a space between being some kind of gay fashionista clothing critic and an LSU apparel gestapo. That hat should not strike anybody as being particularly ugly. In fact it probably shouldn't strike any normal, sane person in any way at all.

That's better than most hats out there right now. Personally I'd go for one of the base navy color LSU hats from '47 but if he likes this one I'd say go for it.
