Middle class taxes going up with what was passed?

Is this true? I can not read through the bias from each party. I am nor left or right. But, I read the new taxes just passed will cut taxes from the rich and increase them on the middle class. If true, that blows. I already get shafted as a single individual household. I get over $300 per week taken out of my check as it is.
Can someone tell me if this is just BS or real?

It's as big of a lie as them saying Trump is a racist or that he colluded with Russia. They lie about everything.

If you take the standard deduction only, you should see a tax cut. It depends on your salary too.
For instance I’m single and take only the standard deduction. I have no kids or home. I now owe less taxes.

$300 taken out for child support?

Why don't you go research it for yourself instead of believing what people with political bias tell you? But if you are too lazy to look it up yourself, most of what the left is saying about it is not true. But again, don't believe me and go research it yourself.

all brackets get a cut at first, then reality sets in a few years out.
Republicans are liars...they had to sell this as a tax cut when its actually budget gimmicks to pay for gifts to the rich, wall street and big business

It's bullshite. If you work, you're getting a tax cut.

The left seems to be pissed that the poor, who effectively pay no federal income tax, won't be getting a tax cut

Not even a little bit. The only people who should see their taxes increase are people with more than 4 kids who itemize.

3-5k in my pocket, I'll take that

How much federal income tax did you pay this year? Last year?

I'm as middle class as it gets (teacher), and I'm anticipating a substantial cut.
Liberals like to bank on the fact that people won't question what they say. Unfortunately it often works.

You sure as hell won’t find rational, unbiased answers here.

Married filing jointly with 2 dependent children, and I have itemized prior years but just slightly over the standard deduction. With no state income tax deduction, I will not itemize but will get about a 2% (of income) effective tax cut.
Most of the cut is due to the family tax credit.

Depends on a lot of factors. It's kind of a crap shoot really. Most people won't see a change more than 500 bucks either way.

The Washington Post gave this claim 4 pinnochios when dem senators tweeted that the plan raised taxes on middle class tax payers.
