This game reminds me so much of a les miles LSU-Alabama game with Wisconsin being LSU and Ohio State being Alabama.
Wisconsin/lsu, a team that's built their entire year on running the ball is running into a brick wall against Ohio State's/bama defensive front yet they can't do anything with their passing game and their hard-headed coach keeps doing it. Their passing game looks inept, probably because they haven't done it much all year Ala Les Miles.
Wisconsin/lsu defense is Stout and gets a lot of turnovers but gives up a few big plays here and there that allows Ohio State/bama to put points on the board and Wisconsin/LSU can't keep up offensively.

I would have thought this post ridiculous until I watched Wisconsin play tonight. Their QB makes Etling look all-world.
And every other position we are superior as well (except maybe TE, he looked pretty good).

On September 30 we lost to Troy at home. Wisconsin beat Northwestern by 9. Northwestern would have beaten LSU that day.

No, of course not. Just like you couldn’t do it for LSU this year. You posted above that you had us “possibly” losing to State, Bama, and Auburn, with us actually winning one of those. This means you thought Troy was a dead certain win. You were wrong.
A previous poster put it very well. LSU was not good enough to navigate an easy schedule through our first few games. So we certainly would not have navigated Wisky’s. Who would we have lost to? Who knows. But the odds are we would have dropped a couple.

This is not a knock on Wisconsin, rather a knock on their ridiculous schedule. COMPLETELY absurd.
They will quite possibly continue to have the easiest path to the playoffs until a few teams in the Big Ten West become relevant.
I really hate threads like this. Not because I don't believe LSU could have went undefeated with Wisky's schedule. I hate these threads because in this forum, they bring out all the self loathing douche bags that want to bash their own team!
