If they keep firing practice shots, they're going to run out of actual missiles. I say just let them keep doing it until they have one left. Then frick them up

Only if we choose to fight using old-style war techniques. We haven't invested hundreds of trillions of dollars into our military to continue to die. There's no oil there so there's no incentive for American government officials to drag out a war on the Korean peninsula. We fight this shite from hundreds of miles away and from the air and it'll be over in a few days with not one American life lost.
Only a few hundred thousand SK civilians in Seoul but their non-american lives don't matter.

I think you’re vastly overestimating our ability to stomp one of the worlds largest armies on their own soil with nothing but air power.
If we really decided to kick their arse, it’d probably be a bloodbath. I’m confident we could do it, but it’d take some doing.

their missiles will be useless in a shooting war. It's the thousands upon thousands of artillery pieces that will do the damage
We have a new countermeasure system that can shoot down mortars but I imagine there will be some leakage when 20K rounds are fired upon Seoul within the first 10 minutes of battle.

That is an easy assessment to make and was born out in the first Gulf war when even the elite units were giving up en masse even though they were likely better fed and equipped than the NK soldiers. However, it fails to take into account that the vast majority of the NK military (not the top brass) and NK citizens see us as a TRUE existential threat. They know so little of the West and the US it would be like aliens attacking the US. Most militaries and citizens of other countries in the world know enough about the US that while not wanting to lose or capitulate they would not expect the loss or surrender to result in an eradication of the populace. The NKs might well fight to the last woman and child.
I think the desirable approach would be to take out their mass casualty assets and attempt to ensure information is allowed to flow into the country. While they would likely never be our friends they would likely become less belligerent.

The Russians starved during WWI and WWII, and they kept throwing themselves at the invading Nazis.

Russia is also like 50 times bigger than North Korea.
Germany had probably captured the equivalent of a few North Koreas by the time they were turned back.

Evacuate Seoul. Then frick North Korea up.
Where would we evacuate the millions of citizens? I dunno, but NK has artillery pieces all over the place and they’re all aimed right at Seoul.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/icons/shrug.gif)

So we pose sanctions for, what, the 1,478th time? Those do a lot of good.

Landed in Sea of Japan after 50 minutes of being airborne. It flew right over Hokkaido.
Japan and South Korea are about to go ape shite, and they should.

The problem with that, is that China will step in on their side if we start anything.
Maybe china is pushing NK to do this...

Barry had EIGHT years to deal with these guys and didn't do shite. Instead, he destroyed everyone's healthcare and let Iran build a nuclear bomb in 10 years. Thanks Barr.
