Gonna have to pay him $10m to consider it after the events of the last few days. Would be a good hire though.

Where are you guys getting these numbers from? Chip Kelly was the top guy on the market and he got a little over $4m/year.

Gundy makes more than that now for starters

Gundy is awesome. Always said his hair epitomizes Oklahoma.

He and his hair will fit in just fine in Tennessee.

Much better than Schiano. Plus Gundy stands up for his players. :-)

You can't spell Gruden without Gund.

I believe they should offer Gruden again. He may not have meant no the first 17 times.

True but he's not getting $10m a year.

Sounds like we’ve offered Gundy, none of our fabnbase believe we can get him though. Just getting himself a salary bump

I disagree. Okie State will ALWAYS be in the Boomer shadow. I can see Gundy wanting to be the big dog in state with the enormous resources of Tennessee behind him. His challenge is overcoming the lack of 4/5* recruits in TN, and will have to go out of state like Fulmer did successfully.

Tennessee is going to have to overpay to draw a coach of that magnitude considering the circumstances right now

10m might be a stretch but it’s not like they can just offer him a little salary bump and get him. OSU will do what they can to keep him and Tennessee is a disaster right now

I've been hesitant to post this due to all the back and forth, but there is currently a line in the water for Gruden. Make fun of us all you want, but Gruden was never offered the job the first time around in this search.

Schiano was the target, that was Haslam's guy and who he wanted. They for whatever reason decided to use Gruden as smoke.

Gruden is more realistic today though, than ever before per people in the A.D.

Tennessee is not getting Gundy.

Why do you guys do this to yourselves?

Come on...

Miles took over a dumpster fire. Gundy has been very consistent though.

If GUNDY takes the Tenner job, I guarantee Norvell goes to Okie State. He really seems to be the mold of a Gundy and I think Arkansas is kind of waffling on him (even though it's been said it's his dream job) I think Arkansas can't really risk taking another guy who took over already made program and hasn't coached in teh sec before.

It wouldn’t be a Tennessee coaching search without Gundy using us to get a raise. I’m surprised they didn’t do it on the night Butch was fired to get it out of the way.

Standard salary bump for Gundy. No way he goes off to Tennessee unless they offer him and his assistants a lot more money.
