Most disappointed you have ever been after a concert?

For me it was Smashing Pumpkins. Loved them growing up and still do but God they were really bad.

Tool 2007 at the River Center I nearly fell asleep while standing on the floor. What a boring show that was.

pearl jam for jazz fest last year, they put on a good show, but the set list sucked, no black, jeremy, dissident, glorified g, once, elderly woman, last kiss, yellow ledbetter, left really disappointed

The Cars in about 1980. Opening band (The Motels) stole the show. The Cars played for less than an hour. I really like them but that was a terrible show.

I actually thought tool 2007 was pretty good. Now tool 2016 Nola.... sucked.

I have a few that were equally disappointing.
1. The Georgia Satellites at the Chimes circa 1985 were horrible. I left after 30 minutes or so.
2. Dinosaur Jr. has sucked both times Ive seen them, once in about '90 and again 6 or 7 years ago.
3. Cake was godawful when I saw them in the 90's.
4. Kings of Leon was bad even back when everyone loved them.....2006 or so.... Even the people I was with who loved them thought they sucked that night.
5. The Gourds always pissed me off when they wouldn't play Gin & Juice. Play the one song people want to hear you pretentious Levon Helm wannabes.

Smashing Pumpkins immediately comes to mind
I've seen my share of bad Phish shows, but really that is just the nature of the beast when it comes to a jam band. When they are off- they are off. But when they are on- nothing is better.

Bob Dylan easily comes to mind

Van Halen, F.U.C.K. tour, Dec 7, 1991
The only redeeming quality of the show is that Alice In Chains opened for them and kicked arse.
The set list says it all. fricking horrific.
Poundcake
Judgement Day
Runaround
When It's Love
There's Only One Way to Rock
(Sammy Hagar song)
Bass Solo
Pleasure Dome
Drum Solo
Panama
Why Can't This Be Love
Born on the Bayou
Creedence Clearwater Revival cover)
Finish What Ya Started
Eagles Fly
(Sammy Hagar song)
Guitar Solo
You Really Got Me
(The Kinks cover)
I Can't Drive 55
(Sammy Hagar song)
Best of Both Worlds
The Dream Is Over
Keep in mind, the DLR era songs they played, were really just part medleys.
They left out Sammmy's solo.
We had decent seats and at every semi-quiet moment, I was yalling "SAMMY, YOU frickING SUUUUUUUCK!!" at the top of my lungs, and I hvve a hella loud voice that really carries. He heard me at least twice.

Hate to say it but I agree. A snooze fest. I'd seen them something like 5 or 6 times since 2001 at that point.
I saw them for the first time since then back in Oct of 16 at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, and it was a much different show. Blew me away again.

Atlanta Rhythm Section, 1981ish in New Orleans. They didn’t even play So Into You, that’s like Skynard not playing Free Bird.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were awful when I saw them, but they’ve been garbage since Frusciante left.
Most recently was String Cheese Incident’s theme set at Hulaween. I’m typically not one to walk out of a show, but damn that was rough. They killed it during their other sets fortunately.

I saw Tool at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA in 2009 and felt the same way. Was just bored as hell.
They were much better at Voodoo 2016.

I went to a Jason Isbell show at a pretty cool outdoor amphitheater in Lagrange, GA earlier this year that was just boring. Maybe they were road weary...but they all seemed to be just going through the motions. Pretty disappointing.

Elvis Costello - was promoting a new album I had not heard, and played exactly one song I knew, but didn't even like
Poi Dog Pondering - just bad
Dylan at Audubon Zoo - it could have been any one of you in a sombrero and I would not have known the difference.

This. The fat one with the goatee wouldn't ever let Jimmy Smith do his songs.

Iron Maiden in 2012 at the Woodlands. Too much going on in their shows. I couldn't distinguish guitars, couldn't hear Bruce at all. Nicko was the bright spot.

Bob Dylan at Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport
