Any info on them? I'm looking for something mid range in price. Maybe a 4x12x50

I have a viper PST 1-4. It has good glass and hasn't given me any problems. I like it.

Two objective lenses? Interesting.

I have a few vortex thrown on hunting rifles. Good quality for their price IMO

I've got a Diamondback 4-12x40 and it's a good scope. My only complaint is the eye relief

might as well save more and get a meopta. vortex eye boxes are very unforgiving

This. I have several for my "utility" type hunting rifles but I don't think I'd put one on a higher end gun I really care about. That said, I killed a buck using that very scope last Saturday.

Have you seen the razor lh?
Got to be much better than the diamondback.

They are good. SWFA just had the 1.5-8 on sale for $500.

Whats yall's opinion on the Meopro vs the trijicon accupower. Both are around the same price. Deciding between the two for my next rifle.

How's their warranty and service turn around? I've only heard good things about Vortex's and they are in the USA. Even companies like Zeiss that have USA offices I've heard bad things about repair and warranty issues from guides out west.
For the average hunter I doubt it matters either way, but I've talked to multiple people that have said Zeiss and swaro work can take months. Basically if they have binos break they are done for the year.
The mid grade Grade vortex glass is great stuff for the price imo.

Never looked through a Vortex outside a store, but wasn’t impressed with eye relief. Can’t tell much else about it inside. Eye relief, for me, is a deal breaker.
I’m stuck on leupold and see no reason to change. Srsly, have never heard a reasonably negative thing about them. Midway has VX3 on sale right now. Great price for exceptional glass from the best company in the game. American made and stand behind their products unconditionally.

accupower's battery life is unacceptable at that price point. should be 31000 hours, not 31. good glass though
meopta is the better buy

they have lifetime warranty as well, but you wont use it like you will with vortex. If you end up using it, it's probably your fault. we had a guy drop some $1500 Meostars out of his stand and they broke in half. got him a new pair in a few weeks

I've got 3 Vortex products, a 6-20X Viper scope, 6-18X Crossfire scope and 12X Diamondback binoculars. I've been very pleased w/ all three. The 2 scopes are on guns I use on prairie dog hunts. Both performed flawlessly on 2 pd hunts (100-150 rounds/day) and extensive shooting for load development. I don't think a more expensive scope would've performed better. I use the binoculars on the pd hunts and on some deer stands. They also were very satisfactory. I think Vortex optics are a good choice in whatever price range you're looking at. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Vortex product.

I've got several Vortex scopes. Higher end Razor models. They are used on 3 gun, precision long range and hunting guns. In my opinion, outside of Night Force or some of the really higher end stuff, best glass on the market. I also have Nikons, Leupold and Zeiss scopes. Overall, the Razor line is better than all these.
As far as the warranty; I bought a Razor HD 1-6 a few years ago. My 3 gun rifles get abused a bit. Had something let go on the inside after dumping it in a barrel. Called Vortex on Monday. They said the new one would be there in a few days, just put the old one in the box it comes with. New scope arrived on Thursday with a return label. Doesn't get any better than that.

I have a Vortex Viper 3-9x40 scope, had it for several years now....great scope. I also have Eagle Optics (same company) Binoculars and I'm very happy with them as well.
