West Wing is generally considered a GOAT, so probably not.
But yes to Lilyhammer and The Exorcist. Hell on Wheels was ok, couldn't get into it.
I think Fringe is better than Lost and is probably the third best hard sci fi show after X-Files and BSG. Will also last longer.
Outer Limits for an anthology series.
Homicide is the best cop show after the Wire, generally forgotten by most.

Are you sure about that? We still have monthly LOST threads. It shows no signs of subsiding.

Yeah, I am going to edit it out. I was hesitant to list it, but in my opinion, people just never talk/mention it as time has passed.

I always get underrated and under the radar mixed up.
From the shows mentioned in this thread already, that I have seen and would recommend:
Longmire: interesting weekly cases, beautiful NM scenery (although set in WY), oddly sexy supporting actresses, unique western/native themes not normally found in a procedural.
Fringe: from the pilot I was hooked. Time travel, multi-universe, and fluid consciousness apparently were right up my alley. I had never been into a show like this before but loved it. A sexy blond Anna Torv helped.
For your troubles:
Some other shows that may or may not have been on people's radars (or underrated, pretty sure I'm fricking up the premise of this thread but I don't care):
Netflix: Love, Flaked, The Ranch
Amazon: Goliath, Sneaky Pete, Patriot
Premium Cable (HBO/Showtime): Boardwalk Empire, Californication
Networks: Justified, Community, Chuck, Happy Endings, The Shield
(While most all of the above shows are familiar to people, I don't see many threads or hear people talk about them as much.)
As for Lost vs Fringe. I watched Fringe first and love it. I watched Lost just a few months ago for the first time and loved it as well. I appreciate the big picture of Lost but I believe I enjoyed the Fringe series more. They both have a lot of similarities. Since I binged both of them after they were off the air I didn't get caught up in any hype. I feel Lost had more potential, but squandered it in the later seasons. I liked the characters in Lost better but thought the story/science was better in Fringe. If I had to pick one to re-watch first, I'd definitely pick Fringe.
Since I posted a pic of Anna Torv, it is only fair that I post a pic of Evangeline Lilly:

In addition to Torv and Joshua Jackson, the series also featured what I believe is one of the best actors in the business: John Noble.
