The Dodgers weren’t asking of Darvish what the Rangers did. The Dodgers weren’t looking for Orel Hershiser of 1988. What they wanted was someone who could pitch five or six innings — and perhaps less in the postseason.

He failed to do even that.

Or Bellinger setting a WS record for strikeouts.

Or Roberts completely mangling pitching subs in game 2.

Or Puig going 0.167

Or Kershaw not being the greatest pitcher when it counts.

Or...

Darvish was not good, but Roberts should have suspected it and been looking for the signs. Smoltz saw it early.

Pinning it all on one dude? Pathetic.

I'm sure that really makes Yu want to entertain thoughts of staying there.

Shame on the LA Times. If Darvish would have thrown a gem they would be sucking him so hard as a poor minority that overcame everything to beat the racist Gurriel and the Astros.

All of that, plus the Astros are a really f*cking good offensive team. Pinning it on one dude is lame

Worse treatment of Yu-LA Times blaming him for losing the WS or Yuli making a gesture in the dugout?

Despite all that other shite, the series was tied 3-3 and Darvish blew this game, in addition to his game 3 performance.

Papi and ARod just said the Astros loooked like they knew every pitch that was coming from Darvish and it was probably because of Beltran's knowledge. Amazing if true

You can tear a man to shreds at the worst moment in his life, but don't you dare mimic his appearance.

I’d be pretty pissed if the Astros traded for Yu and he did that but I am pretty glad that we didn’t and he did

Roberts moves worked in game 6.

You can say Roberts lost game 2, but he didn’t lose the series.

Darvish, Bellinger and Kershaw blew this.

Roberts was actually the series MVP. He declined the award so they gave it to Springer who finished 2nd in voting.

Well, we win the series if he doesn't panic that game. Turner also had a rough series.
