Yeah if you have the talent to beat Bama why the frick are you losing to ducking Troy.

Idk I’ll be hopelessly optimistic but fricking Troy... troy

It would be a miracle turnaround. I'm not getting my hopes up.

I've already forgiven him.

He's got a very young team, and he led them out the depths. Win or lose, these tigers got a bright future.

Losing to Bama will not make me pissed about Troy. Losing any of the remaining games after Bama will.

for me, all would be forgiven. You can't ask for much more than first place in the West after the Bama game. The next game he could lose and not take a bunch of heat would be the SECCG against #1 UGA.

He can't ever lose to another unranked SEC opponent by 30 or lose to a non P5 team again, though. That kind of thing can be excused in year one with some big wins to cancel them out, but never again.

No, because he’s not beating Alabama, lol. And will quite possibly lose another game or two after that.

I'll consider 9-3 a successful season, under the circumstances. His recruiting better kick up a notch though, and next season there are no excuses for a slow start.

Over half the SEC could have new coaches next season. Plus we'll be playing a normal SEC Home/Away schedule. We better win 10+ games.

To answer your question, I'd definitely be happy with him if we somehow run the table and win the west. I'd also be satisfied with 9-3 THIS season. Next season is different.

If

LSU wins, they would be ranked in the top 5 had they not lost to the Trojans and ranked number 1 if they had not also lost to MS ST

nonetheless most of Tiger nation will be forgiving and willing to give O a chance to go all the way

any more missteps and his path forward is precarious

JHMO:

There is a certain segment of the fan base that would rather see the team lose so they can "prove" they were right about a bad hire, than see the team win championships and have to admit they were wrong.

my greatest fear is that we get a beat down and follow it up with the Arkansas hangover loss. that 11 am kick and a solemn crowd following another bama loss is the perfect setup for another mob to begin lighting orgeron torches.

I would say a win over ‘Bama earns O a full reprieve, at least from me.

Assuming we lose this Saturday the following games after will be the big test in my eyes

One of the trademarks of the Miles teams was the post-Bama loss collapse that followed. If Orgeron avoids this and wins out since we will be favored ROS then I can give the man a chance

Anything less than 9-3 is a failure IDC what year it is or how young we are

Even though UF is lukewarm garbage, winning that game went a long way toward satisfying me for the season.

I’m not confident about how the team will play this coming weekend, but I am at least encouraged that the other team won’t know the plays we run for the first time in 5+ years. It may be a fun game to watch...

If he beats Bama and gets us to the SECCG I think 90% of the fanbase will forgive him.

If this game was in Tiger Stadium I think we would have a good chance to win. I just dont see us winning with Etling in Tuscaloosa. He has to play the game of his life for us to win. Something like 18 for 25, 250+ yards, 1 or 2 Tds, and NO turnovers.
