I see this problem every time I fly commercial.

Most recently I was on a Southwest domestic flight and had the distinct displeasure of being crushed against the outer bulkhead as not one, but two grossly obese fat POSs jammed themselves into the two seats beside me.

No exaggeration that either of these women were well over 400 lbs each.

I have no doubt that had I complained, I would have been vilified for my insensitivity.

Both of these hippos spent the entire flight gorging themselves on potato chips and other sweets washed down with copious amounts of sugary soft drinks.

Plane tickets should be priced according to weight and hip gates should be installed requiring oversize travelers to purchase two seats and remove or retract the dividing armrest!

Skinny people should have rights too!!

I didn't want to embarrass him but I snapped a pic and shared it with the local news.

That would royally suck, no doubt. But they had 2 seats together, for $1400 and such a big game, why wouldn't the dude just sit in 1 seat the wife sit on his lap, Santa style?

If you dont attempt to resolve it at that time, too bad for you. They could have told security or someone with the park.

Definitely a sensitive situation for the park and the team. You can't ask someone their weight when they buy the tickets. This big guy has to take some personal responsibility here as he it taking up extra space than what he paid for.

weird that he had the seat in between them...why not tell him to scoot down and then put wife next to fatty and guy sits comfortably?

When I use to split season tickets to see the Astros I would buy 2 extra seats after going through the same thing. It was miserable and I said never again. This way I would have room and not have to sit next to a person taking up too much room in their seat and my seats.

As the obesity pandemic continues to expand (pun intended) in America incidences like this will become increasingly more commonplace.

Well over 10 % of Americans are morbidly obese and that number is growing ( yes again) rapidly. If you doubt these numbers, just stop by your nearest Walmart, or convenience store!

Fat shaming should become the new PC trend du jour.

I stopped going to LSU games because of this. Me and the SO had two seats between two fatties for the Alabama game last year and you could barely see one of the seat numbers between them. When showing my tickets and asking one to move over, he jut threw his fat arms in the air like he couldn't do anything. Eventually the other fatty felt bad and left.

Bench seating is the worst for this.

While a lot of you bad asses are saying you would have made a scene about it, and I don't really disagree with you.

You would have been a YouTube sensation the next day, and not portrayed in a favorable light.

Dude in the Cowboy hat to the right of fatty isn't much better. And is probably blocking some of the view of the people behind his with his orange fat crown.
