I know there are several threads on the subject but it has to be said: no one doubts Alabama is a great team and that we are big underdogs in this game but they are not invincible and we aren’t the worst team in the country. We have the talent to beat them but we must play our best game of the year.

Mostly, we need to get our fan base back to where we used to be before the last 10 years and get behind our Tigers. We need to stop playing the defeated victim role. No one gets excited over pity. So quit your crybaby whining, pull up your big boy pants, and start acting like LSU Tiger fans again!

None of this will translate to Bama losing the game.

Just shutup dude, you sound pathetic.

We, as a fan base, have a right to have the "we'll believe it when we see it" mindset, when it comes to beating bama; especially after 6 losses in a row.

Just because I’m realistic and don’t think we have a very good chance of beating bama doesn’t mean I’m not a fan. I’ll be pulling for them win or lose but stop bitching because everyone else isn’t a sunshine pumper

We are Louisianians, used to not being the best at anything. We would rather be underdogs. I’ve come to embrace that.

Better that than an insufferable neck from Alabama.

I believe we will give them a good game for a half. 30-17, elephants.

OP-----what game does bama need to play, to go with our best game, for us to win?????.........(I'm assuming our best & their best ='s an LSU loss----right??????)....

It’s okay to be realistic. Our deficiencies are bamas strength. They are more physical on both lines and deeper. We are 1 dimensional. I will still cheer like crazy but I’m really hoping we don’t get embarrassed more than anything.

Thanks Derek, really glad that O found the talent to get this team going these last three weeks. Glad he found a kicker too.

We ain't beating Alabama. It won't even be close. The more you realize this, the more you can grab a beer and not let it affect your life so much.

I actually love the fact that nobody is giving Lsu a chance. Nobody gave us a chance against Auburn, and most of the pundits had us losing at Ole Miss. This team has found heart and grit and Orgeron , the coaches, and the players deserve a lot of praise for that. Whether or not that translates into the Tigers pulling out a win at Bama remains to be seen, but I like being the angry dog in the fight!

This reminds me of the UF game in 1997. Nobody gave us a chance in hell then either
