Just curious, do you still drink and drive?
I'll be completely honest with you. I went years without drinking and driving but started drinking heavily again a few years back which lead to more drinking and driving and other risky behavior. It got out of control. I have now been completely sober for 17 months. I just don't drink like other people. Also, when I drink, my sense of inhibition that tells me I shouldn't drive goes out the window. Most people make bad decisions when they drink, my bad decisions just include driving more often than not. FOr that reason, I no longer drink at all.

Glynn Delatte Jr. - former Trooper and very good but expensive. Use if you need it thrown out due to work circumstances (i.e. a conviction gets you fired).

Do the good ole article 894 if you’re not an alcoholic and never drink and drive again (assuming you are a student and not a CDL driver whose livelihood depends on this).

Marcantel and Delatte are both former state troopers. They are good at what they do. But you pay for it. Marcantel was who anfamily member used a few years ago on DWI (needed his level of expertise and experience due to employment related factors). They were happy with his services.

So you have NEVER once driven after ingesting something that messes you up? Anyone who answers yes to this is 16 or a liar.
43 yrs old and after seeing 2 of my best friends die from drunk driving in high school and almost losing a third in high school, I was cured of ever doing that so frick off.

Waste of money to get a lawyer for your first offense
Just do the pretrial intervention the court will offer
This is the correct answer amongst all the BS in this thread.
The fines on a first offense aren't more than $1000-1500 and can be paid out, then you may have an AA class or two to attend and possibly a breathalyzer installed in your vehicle. A lawyer isn't going to diminish or get you out any of those, at least not enough to be worth the money.
My best advice is to just get it all paid and handled as quickly as possible, get the license back in good standing, learn from your mistake, and DO NOT get a second. That would be where the lawyer might come in handy.

Just here to say frick everyone in this thread
Driving drunk is fun shite. First you get on the interstate, get up to about 85-90, turn the lights off, the let go of the wheel. That shite is dope as frick yo!
