Which one would you pick for dinner?

Blue Oak for sure, i went to Central City BBQ for lunch today, and although good, wish i had went to Blue Oak. Great food and beer selection.

Blue Oak as well. But I like Frey too, just not as much as BO.

Frey has better brisket, ribs, and wings. And it’s not even close.
I get into this argument with friends on the reg haha

Frey is good, but I haven't had any item there that was better than the equivalent at Blue Oak.

Umm, no, not even close.
Frey's Brisket=very dry
Frey's Ribs probably slightly better
Frey's wings - not close
Sides, pork, literally everything else goes to Blue Oak.
Their shakes are cool though at Frey, especially Cookie Monster

Can't wait to have Blue Oak again this weekend. Smoke wings- FDB didn't disappoint the first time.

Frey’s issue is consistency. I have gone there and the Q was balls out and gone there and the zipper was up. I’ve eaten there maybe 6 times and 4 of them the Q was darn good. Other 2 I did not finish the plate.

I love wings, any bbq restaurant (or hell, restaurant in general) I visit, I get some wings. The only place I've ever had wings that beat Blue Oak is Central BBQ in Memphis.

Blue Oak by a mile. Until Chef Rob comes back they have the state on lock.

Blue Oak >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Frey

Blue Oak and I wouldn't even think twice.
Have been to Frey twice. First time, it took forever. Second time, food was average and just made me mad at myself for not going to Blue Oak.
The Frey spicy grilled cabbage side may also be one of the worst sides in the city. It tasted like wet ashes with hot mayo.
