Between Coach O giving him no practice time, playing with 3 freshman on the O-line, a hurt Derrius Guice, and the worst QB situation in America (besides Florida lol), he is starting to get rolling

Saw a lot of great looks today and great play calling.

Etling missed at least two wide open looks for TDs

Get like Coach O and put all your trust in the offense

Canada is a smart OC

I loved the impact that his decision to take a step back and keep his hands off of the offense had.

I can see a future where that decision is amplified to the point to where he's not at all involved, and it doesn't look so bad.

I like what Canada is doing.

But... I can't help but wonder what could have been is Les had hired someone like Canada and let them run the offense. It makes me bitter that Les was so stubborn.

I think Myles needs to step up in practice and make it an easier decision on Canada to give him more snaps

Its crazy how a 1 point win and 17 points will instantly change fans mind about how bad we've looked all year.

3 freshman on the O-line
that is a flat out exaggeration by insinuating they did this for any amount of time. It wasn’t even 1 drive

Eh... no. This team could still go 4-8.

I just like what I saw out of the Canada offense. There were passing opportunities that blocking and Etling failed to take advantage of. Get that cleaned up and LSU will have a damned strong offensive unit.

Not impressed - routes are very predictable and still don't see anything that's taking pressure off the pass rush - i .e screen plays and draws are still not set up or executed very well. Without some very tough scrambling by Etling, at least 2 of the drives stall early.

he never said etling looked great. he is simply talking about the concepts MC employs in his offense. it has worked and this is not his first rodeo. we really need a dual threat Qb to run his style to the max potential.

I think so.

If you look close enough and shed the psychological scars of Miles' offenses (at least the last few years) then there are some really good things.

And not just stuff WE haven't seen. He's following a process not many teams do.

When a jet sweep gets stuffed, he attacks the position that stuffed it.

And bless his heart, I posted this on a scoreboard thread, every time a DB goes out he attacks the replacement, not always a bomb btw.

ETA: you and I are on the same page on this one, I think, FatBastard
