I can assure you a great deal are not left or right wing, they are just nut jobs who believe in some global conspiracy/cabal. They are anti-corporation as much as anything.

Here's something you should repeat to yourself: The simplest answer is usually the correct one.

I don't trust most of the conspiracy theories, but I also don't trust most of what the MSM and government tells me either.

This. From JFK to Vietnam to Watergate to CIA coups in foreign countries to Iran Contra to WMD's in Iraq to NSA spying to government unmasking, there is zero reason to trust anything our government tells us. If we had a government that earned the trust of its citizens by being honest and transparent, there wouldn't be widespread conspiracy theories about every tragic event that occurs. But when you have a government full of James Clapper's, it makes it easy to believe something nefarious is occurring.

That conversation led to 9/11 all the way up to JFK!
I guess it’s not feasible to think these things actual just happened
Most information comes from the same sources
Traits
Personalities
quote:
Their proponents can make the theories increasingly elaborate to accommodate new observations; and, ultimately, any information contradicting a conspiracy theory can be answered with, “Well sure, that’s what they want you to think.”
Despite their unfalsifiable nature, conspiracy theories attract significant followings. Not all theorists, it seems, hold their “truths” to the standards of conventional science. And scientists are beginning to understand the types of personalities that buy into more extreme and unlikely theories. Research reveals that conspiracy theorists tend to share a core set of traits, regardless of their conspiracy of choice. Low self-esteem, for example, may characterize both those who believe that Paul McCartney died in 1966 and those who think that Britain’s royal family consists of reptilian aliens.
Skepticism (the unhealthy kind that borders on paranoia) low self esteem, distrust, anger, etc.
They interpret information how they see fit because it cannot be disproven. This is how elaborate fantasies become their reality. While most people view the known information through a scientific filter, theorists view it through a filter of mustrust, paranoia and fear. So, they see the same thing you do, just interpret it much much differently.

There was ZERO doubt there were flashes from somewhere around the 4th floor. I'm not saying that is was gunfire, but I haven't seen another logical explanation either.
It was a reflection of a strobe light. There is video of the light flashing during the concert earlier that night before the actual shooter started. You could also see it on news broadcast hours after..
Or you can choose to believe that a second gunmen from the 4th floor shot at thousands of people, cleaned up all evidence of such afterwards, and then repaired an industrial sized window all in under 35 minutes before making a clean getaway carrying a large caliber automatic rifle and all necessary window repair supplies.

Conspiracy theorists don't adhere to a common ideology.
The most common current whacky conspiracy theory is that there are millions of racists running around the USA.

they secretly think that they are smarter than everyone else.

The rush and anxiety of mass hysteria can lead people to hearing and seeing things that didn't happen. A large portion of the crowd are claiming to have heard two separate guns. This has been the spark for the multiple gunman theory.

What's the deal with people who always believe what the government and media tell us? They are often worse.
*i don't believe any conspiracy theories related to the vegas shooting.

not that i believe there are any conspiracies going on, i do find them fascinating to read. it really is entertaining if nothing else.

2 shooters is simple to debunk. Sound bounces off buildings makeing it sound likes there is more than one. Often times when you are far away from an outdoor concert you can hear what sounds like 2 snare drums playing. Same thing with a gun shot.

There may even be grains of truth behind the vast conspiracy. You know, a large cabal of bankers trying to manipulate world politics....
However, most conspiracy theorists will rarely tell you what they believe. They'll answer questions with questions and call you a "sheople." Distrust becomes paranoia.
I think they are hardwired to be that way.

These people are harder to deal with than conspiracy theorists. Vietnam was worth it, Saddam had WMD's, NSA spying isn't bad, Snowden and Assange are traitors, Russia is the cause of every bad event and America is now run by Nazis and the KKK. It's hilarious how those in the political establishment can call others conspiracy theorists yet subscribe to some of the beliefs above.

Travis Gregory Stano thinks there was a second Vegas shooter.

What's funny to me is every tragedy is a false flag to these people. As if it's not possible for tragedies to happen. There's evil, crazy people in this world and unfortunately these events will happen.
