Danny Trevathan wiki
quote:
Danny Trevathan (born March 24, 1990) is an American football inside linebacker for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kentucky, where in 2010, he was named an All-American by College Football News and was a first team all-SEC selection. I doubt he meant the actually hurt him but it’s pretty easy to not dive at someone already wrapped up like that

The guy was wrapped up, being held up and pushed backward. Then he came in with a helmet right to the dude's jaw. Yes, he was trying to hurt him.

quote:Yep. shite absolutely flies at warp speed out there. He saw a guy wrapped up so he went to make a hard hit. Was it a penalty and fine worthy? Yes. But it isn't like he stopped to think about all the damage he was about to do. It happens in about a second worth of time
I thought it was pretty cheap, but I mean, I don't think Trevathan meant to hurt him. These are football players, it's hard for them to turn it off sometimes. The whistle hadn't blown even though his forward progress was beginning to stop.

a. he literally lowered his helmet to point the crown at a defenseless player
b. he was waving "bye" to aaron rodgers after the play and laughing about it

Anyone got a link to the hit? I missed it watching the ISU game

There are times when I believe this and now is not one of them.
Went straight for the helmet no question about it. Went in for the kill shot - wouldn't have a problem if he was suspended rest of the year or more.

For all the dumbass targeting ejections, that was a hit that actually warranted ejection and yet they didn't.
Posted on 9/28/17 at 10:36 pm to TH03
Why does a shite Iowa State Texas game have twice the posts as this game?

Y'all are thinking of college. The NFL usually doesn't throw people out.
