I'm sometimes embarrassed I went to LSU with what these snowflakes are turning it into.

I walked through the parade grounds around 230 prior to chatanooga. It was pretty gruesome. People passed out, just beyond what I'd call drinking and having fun. I'm bout the coolest 40 year old on the planet. However, you fratty assholes are gross, nasty motherfrickers

Sorry for partying, Gramps.

This was a problem 6 years ago. LSU approached me to check with people who tailgate on the parade ground if they would like to have a discussion one evening on campus about the excess trash in parade grounds. The west Virginia game got the ball rolling on this years ago. However, people refused to name which frats were causing the issue.

They need to expand this to all student organizations on campus. Some are giving tailgating a very bad name.

Good luck to the first kid nominated for pledge bowling under the new policy.

I'm glad they may actually use the cans for trash now and will require clean-up, but I fear the "trash" will take the path of least resistance and move elsewhere on campus.

"Back in my day," we had pre and post-game activities in the fraternity house, and pledges cleaned up in the morning.

This is the same stupid bitch who said that LSU’s tailgating traditions were strange.

The bad part is they won't stop tailgating or follow the rules. Rather than do it on the parade grounds they will just move operations to another where these rules don't apply

Well when these frats know that it gets picked up the next morning by criminals/community service people then they don't have much incentive to keep it clean.

Not an excuse. Just saying it doesn't help.

I really hope students don't put up with this. Time for a little civil disobedience.

Also, I'm sorry the kid died but it was his own fault for not having the personal responsibility to say no to chugging everclear.

If this against the rules now?

Seems like a way better alternative.

This applies only if they want to be at the Parade Ground? They should just set up somewhere else on campus.
