I've heard people mention Body Fortress (at walmart, etc). I don't have a ton of money to spend on protein powders, but I know I'm not getting enough to effectively grow. What are some decent protein powders that don't break the bank?

Thanks in advance!

Optimal Nutrition Gold Standard, GNC offers it, lower priced, well reviewed across the board though.

ON spikes with bcaas, shouldn't trust them anymore. Truenutrition is the answer OP. Whey protein isolate.

Usually wins the award for best whey protein every year
Body Fortress Isolate isn't bad if you are trying to go cheap. I did it for years and still go with it sometimes

Explain please, I don't understand. Spiking with BCAA's? Obviously BCAA's are good and something we'd want. So I assume part of their protein claims come through BCAA's or?

Without looking into it Id guess spiking with BCAAs masks the actual quality of protein.

spiking with bcaas to bring up the so called protein quantity in the mix. In other words not using full and complete proteins from whey like they claim to.

I personally like the vanilla, peanut butter cup and chocalate. IF you are using this simply as meal replacement or anytime other than post workout, use the teamskip blend. If post workout use the whey protein isolate.

now if you order anything with the peptopro hydrolized fast acting casin, get that shite unflavored and buy the flavorings from biotest, as you will need a ton of it to overcome the good awful bitterness of pepto pro, but you should only being using this if you are super advanced anyways.

Jesus guys it's Optimum Nutrition. Gold standard is highly overrated and is basically bought if you know nothing about protein. If you're going to buy that, get a decent protein in the hydrowhey. Great quality and easy to mix.

The first one is a more updated study I believe. That's was also from a quick google search, as I read the results a couple monthes ago.

But everyone can do as they please, I was just passing along the info. And I know some people don't like true nutrition too much as their flavoring can be rough, but it is the best quality.
