Twisted clowns terrify a lot of children, but twisted child clowns easily petrify most adults, too. 17-year-old Mississippi photographer Eagan Tilghman has released pictures of a creative photoshoot he did with his 3-year-old brother Louie, and the results look nightmarishly realistic.
quote:
Eagan dressed Louie up as Pennywise from Stephen King’s “It”. The 17-year-old did everything himself, including makeup and creating the chilling costume. Everything was so well produced, even Andy Muschietti, the director for the upcoming movie remake of “It”, appreciated Eagan’s Instagram post with a like.

not only that but it took some actual work and creativity to do this. Way better than staring at a phone or tablet the entire weekend like a lot of kids.

"This is Bill. He's been a waiter for three years since he left Penn State. He likes the town, he paints toy soldiers, and he's gay."

Awesome pics, but frick all these millennials who never had to suffer through 4 hours of staring at pony-tailed John Boy's mole, Harry Anderson's D-level comedy material, the stuttering asthmatic nerd, and the 4th lead from Simon and Simon fonly to experience the payoff of Tim Curry morphing into cheese-dick mechanical spiderthat Rick Baker would have been too embarrassed to attach his name to in junior high, usurping the It fandom throne and taking it as their own. Assholes.

Seriously. Leading off with a Walton's reference.

No argument here, but aren't we the same age(class of '96)?
I was obviously joking, but I caught an hour or so of the mini-series a week or so ago and man, that thing has not aged well. At all. I am--was--disappoint.

I am taking my 12 yr old to see IT this weekend. I already purchased some red balloons to release into his room while he's trying to go to sleep.

I was 7 and my brother was 14 when it came on. He would convince me to watch it, then convinced me to go into our attic for "The Challenge". Which just meant I had to walk from one end of the attic to the other with the lights out. Then he hid in there with a clown mask and jumped out at me right as I was about to make it out.
Long story short, that tv movie is closely associated with all of my childhood fears. I finally caught part of it again the other day, and I couldn't believe how bad and not scary it was. I'm now listening to IT on audiobook and can't wait for the movie.

My 15 year old is dying to see it, but I wanted to read the book first and just started it on Friday.
It's TWELVE HUNDRED PAGES! I'm on about 200, so I'm thinking opening weekend is out.
I've already been creeping him out whispering at him from around corners, "Can you smell the circus, Georgie?"
Do they... float?

I was also around 7 the first time my brothers made me watch it. They made me check the catch basin in front of our house for clowns that night.
