The bigotry against Coach O is shameful. Coach O is the very best hire LSU could have hoped for. He will have LSU at superstar dynasty status very quickly. He will be the star of college football with zero threat to leave. Both Canada, and Aranda are replaceable.
I used to think Tiger Ree was Derek Ponamsky, but after reading your post, I may be wrong. You're either his family member or DP making post like that.

You know, after looking at the stats, I think he's right actually.

O had a 100% win percentage as the permanent coach before Canada arrived. I think I need to say that again, 100% win percentage. What other coach can say that? And he's forgotten more about defense than Aranda knows, that's why he was promoted above him.

We are really lucky to have him. Let's cherish O for as long as we have him before he heads back to Ole Miss to erase that one blemish from his record.

But I did notice the play calling on the field came at ease. We were never rushed to get a play off. That hasn't happened in years.

There were a couple times when the play clock was approaching 10 seconds and I was thinking "break the damn huddle". If they didn't get to the line by the 10 second line with Miles it was going to be a delay.

Calm down and take your meds man. The OP said this is the best the team has looked in all aspects including special teams. Obviously, there is objective evidence to dispute his statement on special teams. I'm not hating on the team nor have I stated special teams are an area of concern. Maybe the only "freaking people" anyone should worry about are the ones who take message board posts so personally and respond so impulsivey?

Pump your brakes sunshine. We played a scrub. IF we beat Bama, then a thread like this would be warranted.

Yep. Byu played to our strengths as well. Even their fans are wondering why they didn't stack the box and make Etling beat them.

We played very well and disciplined, but let's slow down. We don't know how good byu is anyway.

It's literally his selling point.
I'm getting so sick of this line.

Les Miles had the benefit of Aranda and still managed to get fired near the beginning of the season. All of this BS that O is just benefiting from his coordinators is bunk.

Head coaching duties are different from coordinators. Micromanaging is never a great strategy, no matter how much you know about that job. The best managers hire good people, clearly state what they want from them, give them the support and tools that they need to succeed, and hold them accountable for the results.

You don't have to do every job along the way to be an effective manager. If that were the case, no large business would succeed. The fact that he doesn't run the offense or the defense isn't his selling point. The fact that he runs the team and effectively manages his talented coordinators will be, if he continues to have a successful season.

And sure, that could be very attractive for potential coordinators in the future, should we lose either of the current two. Lot's of talent, easy recruiting, great salary, freedom in a positive environment without a micromanaging megalomaniac, and fantastic exposure for potential future jobs. What hot shot coordinator wouldn't want that?

We had a delay and were rushed at times because the call came in late, then Etling went to the huddle to read his wristband. We need to be quicker with the play call because if its late we don't have time to do the motions
