I have a feeling (and hope) that Canada has a much larger playbook. I hope he's just gradually introducing.

Coach O said that was just 10% of the playbook.

While sarcasm is a lost art, it's a bit misplaced for this post!

LSU did look good, they were focused and they appear to be WELL coached. That's something we haven't seen especially in a first game since 2011. Is Coach O a MENSA member of the CFB elite, nope. But for now he seems to be a great fit and as LSU fans we should support him!

I love coach o but/and you are so wrong about oc and dc. I presume you are just a rude troll.
Offense was poised.
Defense stellar. Amazing d. consider 3 starters out.

Poised offense.
Best start since jarrett lee sr yr.
Ut-chat will be another cake walk.
Sec soon enough.

He doesn't run the offense or the defense.

It's literally his selling point.

They looked good no doubt, but they need to improve significantly to make it to Atlanta

This is the best LSU has looked in years!
They looked very good.... no looking to the sideline before every offensive play... seemed to be zero confusion on offense like they had under the former coach.... team seemed to have a totally different focus and

And the scary part of your post is that they were looking to the sideline to Miles. They would have been better off looking to the opponents sidelines.

So you think Canada is too stupid or stubborn to adjust if a D stacks the box? That he is a zombie remote controlled by Lester Miles?

While I certainly understand your point I will say that BYU's usually a decent team. Not great. But IMO they'd be around .500 within the SEC most years.....maybe a little bit below. They're probably on par with Mississippi St., Ole Miss, Kentucky, etc

That BYU team would finish dead last in the SEC. I know they're decent mozt years but they're awful this year.

Sure and I think when it comes to like going for it on 4th and fake punts and game plans he is really involved.

But I think it's Aranda and Canada's play books and their playcalls. I think that's probably why both of them like the job. Autonomy is a huge job perk.

This was a very promising start, but everyone who's saying we need to wait till after State is right: BYU is usually decent, but they may be awful this year. It's pretty clear State is a solid 7-5, 8-4 type SEC West team. If we go on the road at night and handle them with relative ease in the conference opener then we can start to realistically talk playoffs and Coach O being a great hire

True, but what team doesn't need to improve from their FIRST GAME in order to make the SECCG!

Don't even utter it....even Bama will need to improve in order to win the SEC west!

Nah, it'll be the same doubters that will then say "wait till we play at least a decent SEC team"

Then it'll be "wait till we play a good SEC team"

If you can't see that this offense is already miles ahead in the coaching department then that's on you.
