Offense, defense and special teams. Going to be a great year!
Very well coached in all phases of the game. I know it was BYU but they did things that a les miles coached team could not do. Like getting plays in on time! No longer a struggle to get the play call in. The defense speaks for itself.

I have a feeling (and hope) that Canada has a much larger playbook. I hope he's just gradually introducing.

But I did notice the play calling on the field came at ease. We were never rushed to get a play off. That hasn't happened in years.

I'm still waiting to see when we play a team with sec Talent.

And a coach that doesn't buy into all the misdirection and stacks the Box

Don't really need to hope for this. It's 100% fact that he has a much bigger playbook. All you have to do is watch his previous offenses.

They looked very good.... no looking to the sideline before every offensive play... seemed to be zero confusion on offense like they had under the former coach.... team seemed to have a totally different focus and motivation.....

The bigotry against Coach O is shameful. Coach O is the very best hire LSU could have hoped for. He will have LSU at superstar dynasty status very quickly. He will be the star of college football with zero threat to leave. Both Canada, and Aranda are replaceable.

While I certainly understand your point I will say that BYU's usually a decent team. Not great. But IMO they'd be around .500 within the SEC most years.....maybe a little bit below. They're probably on par with Mississippi St., Ole Miss, Kentucky, etc. Regardless.....LSU looked very well coached and organized.

I would think his Playbook is like 18 Formations+- and 200 Plays+-. Playbook is like a giant garden and you just pick what you need when you need it.

LSU looks great right now especially with a very limited play calling on offense.
AL and maybe AU look to be the only real threats to LSU. FL and AtM look much worse than expected.

O will only ever be as good as his Coordinators.

Everyone is replaceable but it isn't going to be easy to replace Dave Aranda. Not at all.

Ed Orgeron runs this show. Ed Orgeron is not the bumbling idiot coaching impostor Les Miles is.

And your point? Do you also know that 34 yard field goal was his first of his college career, as a walk-on freshman kicker, after his lineman got a penalty that backed him up another 5 yards? Do you know Va. Tech's kicker missed a 31 yard FG last night, and what is their reputation generally on sp. teams? Point is, it's football and people miss field goals. He simply pushed it. It's not like he shanked the damn kick. And then he came back and made 2 more after, which shows pretty good bounce back mentally for a freshman. But you are right, after one game of our freshman kicker going 2-3 in field goals, we should claim that he and special teams as a whole are just bad and an area of concern. You freaking people!

Maybe if they had rushed a couple times they wouldn't have gotten a couple delay of game penalties.
