It will be interesting to see if this was a real 2nd or a fake 2nd. And on paper Miller should be about the same as a healthy QPon. If you gave me the choice between QPon and Miller or Miller and Dante, I take Miller and Dante.

Thank you. Smart move. We have more than enough depth at the 1 and 2. QPon is a 2, who we don't even know if he can play. Dante will play better minutes at the 3 than he will. We will be fine at the 3 until Solo comes back. Go get a backup 4/5, not named Josh Smith.

The move is fine. Much better than stretching Asik, and still opens up the short term space you wanted.
No way they were gonna get somebody to take a guy that hasn't played in 2 years without adding a sweetener, so i'm fine with giving them a 2nd rounder.
A second round pick is worth not having Asik's money on the books for the next 7 years. Especially when you end up with the same player in either scenario.
