Posted in another thread but thought it merited its own.

The Cajun Navy drove slmost all night from Terrebonne Parish to Katy (technically, they said they slept two hours at a WalMart in the Woodlands), brought over 165 gallons of fuel for their airboat and asked for nothing more than directions and a place to launch. The pilot was an alligator fisherman named John.

All I can say is thanks. Long after we were rescued, they were still rescuing others.

May God bless the Cajun Navy!

My office is closed the rest of the week so I have been watching the local news feeds. The Cajun Navy is doing some amazing work here. Even the Houston police chief did a shout out yesterday.

Who the hell downvotes this?!?! This man is thanking the people who rescued him and his group. I cannot and will never understand someone's mentality that feels the need to downvote a post like this

There was a shout out to the Cajun Navy on a radio station in Georgia this morning! Thank God for those brave and selfless men.

I love this story and I'm so glad you and your family are safe...but the best part is that you have a fish named Glubsworth.

I know the feeling as well. My family and I were rescued by the Cajun navy last year in the BR floods.

Glad you are safe!

What's the best website to give money to CN 2016? The wife wants to donate some money because of friends she has in Katy and south La. I'm going to match her donation hoping the boys in CN will use my part to buy as much beer as possible post rescues. They damn well deserve it.

Thanks if you can help me here.
