For the last 5 years or so, the LSUAD have driven me away from attending ALL the home games.

Not interested in listening to all that obnoxious PIM.

GBFTL/Student: Mid 70's-Early 80's.

STH:80's/90's.

Lost the Vibe after Nick left.

"Been there, Done that" for too many years and the thrill has gone away.

Tiger Stadium atmosphere definitely aint the same except for Alabama and Ole Miss every other year at Night.

Not very hard at all to stay at home now because I was there when it was the Roman Coliseum and all I heard was loud crowd noise and TGBFTL.

Not interested in listening to all that obnoxious PIM.

Not really interested in the newly sanitized and NFL'ized Corporate Tiger Stadium every home game.

I'll be there when it counts and there's a chance it will approach the glory days........

Me except on a cool clear fall evening.
On TV, if the game gets bad, I turn it off and pretend it's not happening.

Yeah parking and traffic makes the LSU games such a pain in the arse. Sadly I haven't been in three years because of the headaches that come with it all.

I like to go to a live game once or twice a year or when I am home to get the feel of it ,but it is really nice not having to deal with the traffic and being home watching in your own living room where you are comfortable.

I used to attend every home game a more than one away game a year. I did this for years but as you I am now more inclined to hang at the deer camp or at my house and watch the games on TV and you know what I don't care that I'm old and boring now.

I agree that there are upsides to staying at home to watch the games.

If you have the means to travel and see different places across the country why wouldn't you? The season opener last year at Lambeau along with gameday being there was one of the coolest experiences I've witnessed as an LSU fan. Only way it could have been better is if we would have won.

There is just something special about being in Death Valley on a Saturday night.

I am torn. There is nothing like the fun of a good tailgate, the excitment and antipcation on campus, the sound of Death Valley when the Golden Band from Tigerland takes the field, when they announce the chance of rain is never, and hearing 100,000+ fans cheer the tigers on to victory. Some of my absolute greatest lifetime memories are made on the campus and in the stadium.

On the other end, it is a 1.5 hour drive to campus, I either pay to park or walk a mile, have to setup everything, spend 12 hours on campus, then wait in 2-3 hours of traffic and another 1.5 hour drive home.

It's really not bad

In my profession I deal with very few Bama/AUB people on a daily basis

Most people I contact have no allegiance/ didn't go to college

I usually try to keep the game day atmosphere fresh in my mind by attending maybe 1 a year. It is indeed something special.

But I'm a weary old man in his 30's. The thought of going to a game and all that it entails makes me tired. I don't drink anymore so there's that. I am very satisfied by taking a shower after some good yard work and spending the rest of the day dry and sweat free, watching LSU and all the other games that are on tv.

I've always joked about the concept of tailgating

So....you mean to tell me.....you have a full kitchen and TV set up in the comfort of your own home and yet you feel the need to drive to a game 12 hours early and haul all your cooking and TV stuff to a parking lot!!

When you look at it that way. It seems insane

The worst part of attending the game is the traffic flow into Baton Rouge from the west.

The State and Federal government have to address the ridiculous "neck down of I-10".

2 times per year, being from New Orleans and dealing with traffic I wish all games were played at 2:30pm

Calling someone an idiot and using your instead of you're in the same sentence.....

Pretty much the definition, don't you think?
