Is this the separate fridge/freezer with the trim kit? We put the Frigidaire version in our camp and wish I would have done it in our home.

If I ever redo my kitchen, I will look at SZ, but definitely won't spend crazy if decide to put panels over the doors.

Doing a kitchen remodel soon. Thinking wolf vs Viking just for resale value. Any appreciable difference between the two, in regards to reliability (I'm sure performance is on par with my gas GE, but if you have one of the high end ranges/ovens, it seems to emotionally affect buyers).

I'm going with the kitchen aide line of products. They have some quality stuff. I'm sure you can find better if you increase your budget but the products I'm looking for will cook just fine for my family.

I'd get a Blue Star in a custom color, that doesn't match anything else, then hide the fridge in cabinet paneling.

My wife's getting a new car soon and we went to test drive a demo model last weekend...I was staring at the rear badges and she gave me a terrible look. As bad as I think they look I am not touching them.

I have never owned a sub zero so I have zero firsthand knowledge.
But I do have firsthand knowledge of Thermador and Dacor stoves and to say they "High end appliances are for appearances only and function no higher end than a decent whirlpool" is quite comical.

I've spent tons of time at Decor, and their performance testing for their stoves was insane. 6 or so racks of sugar cookies and they measured the color of each cookie...plotted and judged each set of elements and/or on/off timing profile. What they lack in theory they make up for in implementation.

If they live in central, there is a 20% discount until end of year due to flood. Not sure if there is builder pricing. Never had SZ, but Wolf gas range is the tits.

The same exact items can be purchased from Homedepot for $2,879.00 with free delivery and installation. That is $425 cheaper at HD and you can bet that HD is making profit.

I used to work for a large national home builder and we got a deal and could pass on a bit of savings to the customer.
However, sometimes they run deals where you get a package and the package is cheaper than what you would buy the pieces for individually.
