Took a long to time to come up with my response. I had to listen to a lot of Dave Ramsey.

Just closed yesterday on a build in central. My builder has a discount at Stantons. It was quite a bit off the advertised price. Beat aj Madison by several hundred on each appliance

Some, very little wiggle room. The best deal is getting scratch and dent. Most of the time the damage is to the back and sides, no one would ever see and you have over $1500 off.
Sometimes more.

The one issue I've had since getting a sub zero is that they are cabinet depth. It's wider but I can't put a coke fridge pack in, or a large round cake pan and shut the door. Many ot ballers have a second fridge in the butlers pantry for that issue.(seriously, I seent it)

Wolf ovens are great but right now Capitol is the best made, with Thermidor being my least fave of the ultra high end stoves.
Also for the love of God, don't get a NXR stove. I've been spending the better part of a month tracking down a burner orifice for one. When I ordered it I had to get it shipped from New Zealand. Parts can't be had normally for those.

Wolf great brand.

I went with Wolf and Sub Zero. You’re right the counter depth is tricky. Fridge looks much bigger but in reality we don’t feel the extra room, despite the extra cubic ft.

Someone joked that Electrolux/Frigidaire was the best in this category. He wasn't exactly wrong. Frigidaire makes a standalone freezer and a stand alone fridge that have a kit that joins them together. Cost for everything is around $2k. With kit they look high end. Plus they are standard depth and simple. Now they wont hold food at temp for a day with no power like the Sub zeros but they are a lot cheaper, normal depth and still 5' wide.

ETA just saw an old thread.
