Brennan's Weight is going to rival Keiland's Calves before it's said and done

Didn't Rivers eventually end up at NW St?

You laugh, but he turned 1 football scholarship into a BS, MS and a PhD from three different schools in 5 years.

Just hope he gets a fair shake unlike Stephen rivers and many others when LESS played favorites!!

Which was proven by the way he lit it up after he left LSU?

It has been my experience that coaches "play favorites" toward guys that give a better chance of winning.
But I could be wrong given the post-LSU performance of Rivers.

A lot of posters here needs to get their sarcasm meter checked.

It's that time of year. Last year at this time we got reports Lindsey Scott had grown from 5' 10" to 6'1" during the summer.
Just wait until the "meaningful reps" shite with the backup QBs begin...that's the real fun.

Yep. That's when it seems like half the board knows someone who attends practice and all of the qb's will be looking outstanding and each group will be fighting about which back up that they support should be starting instead of Danny.

Good times.

That noodle arm could have been because of pain in his back. We'll see if anything changes. I'm willing to bet he's more accurate this year and has a slightly stronger arm which should be good enough. We really need to get some protection against great DLs or get a mixture of superb play calling with good OL play. If we can do that then we can beat those teams which have dominant DL play.

My hope is that the OL was tired of the opposing team knowing what was coming so they left a little on the field at times but now with an OC who is creative it gives them a renewed sense of urgency which results in a dominant OL and offense as a whole. GT

No no no! Redshirt this season, period. Learn the playbook, take care of business in the classroom and weight room. Earn some respect from your peers and coaches. Do his part on the scout team.

Next spring, ball out and try to win the job.

Gaining weight is a little different than growing 2 inches, although it's not unheard of for a 17/18 year old to grow an inch or two. That said, Scott didn't grow two inches.

If Narcisse is a beast then Brennan should prepare to hold the clipboard.

Narcisse really is a very good QB, if he never got injured he would have been the best QB since Ryan Perilloux to come out of that areab and probably the top QB in the country.
