Now that KY has renamed it's stadium (the 1st SEC school to use a corporate sponsor) LSU's Tiger Stadium is the only stadium or field not to be named after a person or entity.

I'd be fine with giving away the naming rights if it dropped TAF fees.

That would a akin to a politician rescinding an imposed tax - never gonna happen. Greed is a terrible thing.

Or a toll bridge ever getting rid of the toll after it's paid for itself.

Only a matter of time before Alleva sells the naming rights

I would only be OK with a corporate sponsor if it was the UFC. Then they could name it the "UFC Ground and Pound Tiger Stadium".

Have you been in Tiger Stadium recently?

There are more tacky permanent ads crapping up the inside of the stadium than any other in the SEC.

There's a wretched excess large "Coca-Cola" logo totally dominating the north end zone scoreboard now. They also recently added a big "Nissan" sign in the North EZ and plastered "Go Daddy" logo's on the field level gold fence padding in both EZ's.

I don't have a problem with advertising, but it should all be non-permanent video ads that scroll on and off the scoreboards and ribbon boards.

All that crap that's plastered up in the SE/SW corners and South EZ needs to go. Totally ruins the aesthetics of the venue!

They'd probably just use the money to put bidets in the TAF offices and Tiger Stadium corporate owned suites.
