Let's say that you are a trust fund kid. For the purposes of this question, let's assume you have enough not to worry about running out in your lifetime. Where, in the continental US, do you maintain your primary residence?

Probably Montana in the summer and South Carolina in the winter.

I'd probably hop between South Florida, Wyoming and NYC

I'm perfectly happy where I am.

Manhattan - March/April -> Thanksgiving/Christmas
Park City, Utah - Thanksgiving/Christmas -> March/April
with intermittent traveling sprinkled throughout

Island hopping and boozing/fishing will be priority #1, so my "primary" residence would probably be near my parents/in laws. Wouldn't be there often tho.

Dude, you're in Chicago. If I had unlimited cash, I would split summer between swanky places in Chicago and northern Michigan.
Fall, probably some college town.
Winter, IDK. Maybe Scottsdale.

I'd still be trying to grow into billions and even more. The earth itself would be my home, so I'd be traveling as much as I could looking for sound potential investments with great growth opportunities.
