More annoying female profession: realtor or R&F/

My wife does R&F. She sells just enough to pay for her own shite. At the beginning it caused some major issues with us. The brainwashing was impressive. I went to one deal and one of the "upline" women walks over to me while my wife is talking to someone and says: "Your wife is gonna retire you."
Me: "What does that mean?"
Her: "It means she will make so much money you will retire."
Me: "Oh, ok, when can I expect that to happen?"
Her: "Soon. Very soon."
Me: "What will I do in my spare time?"
Her: "We have ALOT(special, flirtatious emphasis) of men selling R&F. It would keep you busy and you could do really well. I can tell."
Me:"But I wouldn't be retired."
Conversation over. :)

I like the ones who list their job as (Insert random makeup co) consultant.

Meaning they have those stupid parties and get all their friends/relatives drunk

From what I see online, it is customary for hot young female real estate agents to bang their male prospects at the first showing.

This has gotten absurd. It Works! (Probably couldn't come up with a more pyramid scheme sounding name if I tried), R&F, and now Monat (Shampoo brand that just popped up).

I really don't understand how people continue to get sucked into these things. Male friend asked me to join some kind of online advertising company. Wouldn't go over details unless i went to meet with him and the person that got him to join. Have gotten hit up by 3 different guys in different circles for the same thing. Even if its legit money, an extra $1000 a month isn't worth alienating all my friends and family because they think I'm going to harass them every time we see each other/speak.

R+F is making the rounds in my nighborhood/facebook friends...Good lord, It's like they don't realize that their life has become a commercial. Do they truly not understand that a small town can't support that many people selling the same product?

I've got two FB friends who sell It Works! crap. they're both appear to be living carefree extravagant lives and one of the husbands even quit his job. So I guess it works for some people. These two girls are very outgoing and personable so I can see how they'd be successful. What I don't believe is that all THEIR friends are also making tons of money doing it. Who the hell is buying all that shite?

If there were realtors that could provide actual financial advice and real estate expertise they would be worth their weight in gold. But, every realtor just meets you at a house and shows you around. Everyone knows how to look at a house.

Give me crime stats, how is the neighborhood as far as landscaping and cars parked on the street, where are home values trending in that neighborhood, any section 8 apartments going up nearby, is the town going bankrupt, is the HOA going bankrupt, what does next door say or people that live in the neighborhood, etc etc. It is nothing to pay a realtor 5 figures these days for a home sale and walking around a house isn't worth that. People are making the largest purchase of their life and the person facilitating the transaction knows nothing but how to stroll you around a house.

Their prices are going down because of the little value they provide and because there are so many. Used to be 6% but you can negotiate down. Best thing to do is pay to list on MLS and offer to pay buyers realtor their half of fees.

Realtors are the worst because they make people believe they do something. At least everyone knows MLM schemes are what they are.

Most of these aren't pyramid schemes. I've been an investor in many multi level marketing operations and the chance to be your own boss is literally life changing and can turn your life around

When someone I know announces on FB that they're a rep for plexus/advocare, they go to ignore. If they start messaging, it's a block.
