quote:

According to the Beaumont Police Department, 48-year old Henri Paul Johnson decided to take a nap on a stretcher after working for sixteen hours straight.

While he was sleeping, another employee mistook him for the corpse of a 52-year old car accident victim and carried him to the crematory.

quote:

Jenna Davis, one of Henri Johnson’s coworkers, says she heard him scream for about 15 seconds after the crematory was activated.

This is what happens when you sleep on the job.

What an awful way to go. That other worker is retarded.

ETA: That can't possibly be real, can it?

What the frick? How did he not wake up being moved? Damn that sucks. So the employee heard him scream for 15 Seconds and didn't try to stop it?

Eta NM I see that turned the fire off but it was too late.

I assume he was fully clothed. I figured they usually burned them without clothes. Either way, I'm glad I snore.

I'm not sure if I believe this - I'm sure creamating a fully clothed person would raise red flags. When my MIL was creamated my wife wanted to say her goodbyes- the body was extremely cold to the touch and wrapped in heavy towels etc.
