Was a victim of a shotgun wedding.
I'm grateful everyday that repressed time is behind me.

Date? Well hell I haven't even told Ivanka and Jarred yet about the their divorce much less the engagement. Oh wait, I may have said too much already. Dangit!

5ish years.
Been married a little over a month. So far, it's just like when we were dating or engaged.

been wondering about this kind of shite of late too. Been dating a woman for about 9 months (shite, did the math there and didn't realize it had been that long) and guess I need to broach the subject and see where she is at with it. How do you bring that shite up?
The big ex I had, we dated off and on for 5 years. Squirreled away 7500 for a ring for her and the day after I broke up with her the last time I bought a 6k watch with the money.

Paige, you know that there is no really informative answer to this question.
It's important to take time to get to know his family. What kind of home life did his parents provide? If it was a troubled home, what did the guy learn from that?
You've got to somehow get deep insight into the person's background, his family's mental makeup and HIS mental make up.
Lots of people come from broken homes and that makes it very hard to avoid that trap when these people get married. Ask him what did he learn from this or that bad part of his background. And ask yourself too: what did YOU learn from your past mistakes and your parents' mistakes.
THEN you can have sexy time with great success.
