Long time reader, first time poster.
Wanted to get some feedback on what temperature you set your AC on in the summer in the following scenarios:
Away, At home, Bedtime.
Mine is 75, 73 and 71. Wondering if I am normal.
I'll hang up and listen...

76, 74, 72
When at a hotel for work, I set it as low as it will go since I don't pay the power bill

This is NOT normal. What kind of a freak are you?

Too hot for my blood. My house stays at 70, unless we decide to drop to 68 at night.

Wow. Now we need other's approval to set our thermostats?

Not really, have 12' ceilings, 52" fans in every room. It's more about humidity management than temperature. Always cool, dry air moving

All 4 of my units are set to different temp depending on whose area of the house it is.
My standard setting is: 78, 74 72 and ceiling fans are always on in most rooms

Since I am the only one living here, for the moment. I am on a mission to get my power bill down...real down. My brick house is well insulated and double pane windows.
I turn the AC on during the day to cool it off if it gets hot I turn it back on until it is cool/dry air around 78.
At night I turn it on till it gets down to 74 and turn it off and go to sleep, with a ceiling fan on.
