If you're resisting arrest and have a gun in your pocket, which you reach for several times while resisting, I will shoot and kill you. No questions asked. Zero guilt.

If it's me or you, it's going to be you.

Which is why they were cleared legally. BRPD standards are not the same as legal standards.

She didn't have a particularly good day today regardless as she refused to shake the Vice Presidents hand.

Check me if I'm wrong here, but I've never heard of a police department whose policy calls for allowing a perp to go for his weapon without consequence while resisting arrest.

I mean, I could be mistaken, but I don't think so.

legal standards.

Universal Citation: LA Rev Stat § 14:20
§20. Justifiable homicide

A. A homicide is justifiable:

(1) When committed in self-defense by one who reasonably believes that he is in imminent danger of losing his life or receiving great bodily harm and that the killing is necessary to save himself from that danger.

Hm. Odd. Seems it is legally justifiable as well.

Edit: I'm a dumbass and misread your post.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Her and her administration know nothing of the law or the city's policies nor do they care. I expect them to hemmorhage money over the next 6 years.

Then she'll appoint a police chief that answers directly to her and will enact her naive policing policies that will do nothing more than cause an increase in unreported crime.

Well there were other actions that led to that. I'm not saying they did anything wrong, I'm just pointing out that just because they were cleared legally doesn't mean the BRPD can't take their own actions if they feel that the officers acted inappropriately at any point during the encounter.

But that is for the BRPD to decide, not me, you, or our mayor.

She didn't shake the VP's hand? Are you serious? If true...why was she there at all?

Surely your joking.

I highly doubt Pence would shake her hand anyway.

While I don't know for sure and what I am about to say is only an assumption, but if he was that important to his family he wouldn't have been living in a church shelter. So the question should be. Why did they allow him to live in a church shelter where he probably lacked resources he would have if he lived with family members, which might have contributed to him out on the street at 2AM selling CDs.

If BRPD internal investigations show no violation of policy, these cops will still be fired as soon as Dabadie is gone

Wouldn't surprise me, and that'd be a shame.

In all honesty though, if I were one of these officers, I'd probably want to move anyway.
