Still trying to finish Summer of Night, but i bought a new book, and will likely put that book on hold. It is good though.

Just bought Ludlum's the Bourne Identity after a post i read about it. Really enjoy the movies, but heard there is so much more in the books.

I can think of only two movies that were better than the books. Jaws and The Godfather.

I really loved the movie L.A. Confidential and I just finished the book. Way better than an Oscar winning movie.

(Good thing I like long books as this one clocks in at 802 pages.)

Just had to pop in here to say that War & Peace is blowing my mind. I think when it’s all said and done it might end up being my favorite book of all time. I can see myself reading it over and over again and picking up new little nuggets each time.

The Panzer Killers by Daniel P. Bolger.
Absolutely fascinating, meticulously researched, and exceptionally well written. Major General Maurice Rose and The Third Armored Division. From Normandy to Germany.

Just started the 4th book in the Pillars of the Earth series - The Evening and the Morning. It's a prequel to the original setting is pre-Norman England. Love those books. Follett does an incredible job of transporting the reader to these radically different time periods.
