And how long have you been at your job?
I get 16 days plus 2 sick days paid....can essentially take as many sick days as i want after that but im not getting paid for it. Been here a year almost. Wont go to 21 days till I am here for 5 years. Then 26 days at 10 years and finally 31 for 15+.
If you own a company
we know you get to take it whenever you want

3 weeks and earn floating personal days, something like .25 per month.
i miss working at a big bank. they get every bank holiday plus 20 days pto, you could buy a week and got an additional week after being there 5 years.
I knew folks that had almost 2 months of vacation every year and no one batted an eye

I can take off whenever I want but also have the chance to have to go in even if I'm on vacation. Don't own the company.

Gvt worker here. I get 6 hours of AL every 2 weeks. I think I've got almost 90 in the bank.
I also get 4 hours of sick leave every 2 weeks. I've got close to 500 hours of that though.

what type of work do you do to earn 6 weeks vacation?
Posted on 5/22/17 at 1:37 pm to auzach91
I get 14 hrs annual and 10 sick per month. But I've never been able to save them. I use them like they're burning a hole in my pocket.

3 weeks PTO can be used for sick or vacation
12 Holidays paid
Flex time - as long as we work 8 hours it doesn't matter when between the hours of 6 am and 5 pm.
I usually do 7 - 3 with no lunch

Not set number or paperwork or anything required. It is great, but it also causes me to never take more than like 4 days for the entire year because there isn't some set amount I need to hit.
Self employed, kinda. Technically.

10 days of vacation, 5 days of sick leave. I've been working for the company for 4.5 years.
They are pretty lenient about time off though. I was off on Friday and most likely won't have to use any of my leave hours, because I can just make up the time by coming in a few minutes early and taking a 30 minute lunch instead of an hour.
