It is becoming evermore clear to me, that getting things done for the American people and talking about things that actually impact the lives of everyday Americans, is no longer the goal of 95% of those in Washington. The business on Capitol Hill is now to conduct gigantic smear campaigns.

President Trump could be cleared in every issue, investigation, and scandal that has or possibly could come forward, and the next day the media cycle will be flooded with some new "scandal", call for investigation, or piece of paper that has been found. Sometimes Trump isn't careful and gets himself into some of these things, I concede that, but it seems like most people on Capitol Hill spend the majority of their time digging and throwing everything that they can at the wall, and just hoping it sticks. I hear few calls from prominent politicians for us to move on to the issues that actually impact me and you. It's just on to the next thing we can find to try to turn into a scandal.

Gone are the days where anyone up there wants to have discussion about the major issues that need to be addressed for the American people. I mean real discussion, not standing in front of cameras and microphones or getting on Twitter to smear the other side, but actual people sitting down in offices and spending hours trying to hammer out plans for these issues.

For the rest of this Presidency, these investigation into Trump, Russia, Flynn, Comey, etc. stories will probably dominate. The media loves it, it's a sexy headline, and it helps the narrative/agenda that most in the media have. Trump the Outisider crashed the DC party, and most of the politicians will do anything to get him away quickly.

We can't truly address issues, get out and talk to regular people, and have true debate. All we can have is this crap.

End rant.

This was the goal all along.

Vote against all your Congressional incumbents.

Amazing, there really is healthy contingent of people who think Trump can literally do wrong. Its always someone else's fault or some big conspiracy.

I don't think it's everyone else's fault. Trump's been stepping in his own shite for a while now, independent of outside forces.

He has a republican house and senate. It's on him to rally the troops. His abrasiveness has not served him well.

That seems like such a sweet, quaint notion now. I think that pretty much ended the day Bill Clinton was sworn in. Enter the Baby Boomers. Game. Set. Match for the political process.

He's already hit a home run with the SCOTUS appointment and eviscerated a bunch of Obammy's EO's so it has not all been bad my friend.

Would still be better than what we had for 8 years under Obama or would have had under Clinton.

We'll have to give him two terms, then.

Politics has always been very toxic, always has, always will.

Read up on some of the ancient Greek and Roman politics, they were pretty rough and vicious.

Look at our early founding fathers. Probably with the exception of George Washington, there has been political back-stabbing and fighting.

Look at Thomas Jefferson, some of the clowns in the media spread horrible lies about Jefferson.
One guy even went as far as to accuse Jefferson of fathering children with a slave named Sally Hemmings.

DNA testing showed that was an utter lie but that false myths still exist today.

Trump has been shaking up the sleaze in DC and they don't like it.

You didn't actually think that the sleaze was actually going to give up without a fight, now did you?

There is huge, I mean mega amounts of money and power on the line for the corrupt Washington and media establishment.

They KNOW that they have someone in the most powerful position in the world rocking their boat and they want to protect their sleazy gravy-trains.

I believe Trump was Divinely predestined by the Almighty God to give our great nation one more chance to get this thing right.

History is against this nation. Too many great empires/societies/countries have fallen by the way side.

Trump is this country's LAST chance or we will follow in the foot steps on many other countries.

Heres a few things to remind yourself:

1. illary is NOT president. This woman is pure evil incarnate. IF illary were president now, so many of our freedoms would vanish within a generation. She is THAT evil.

2. Trump has the opportunity to get the Federal courts back in the hands of orginalist. Trump is going to appoint another Supreme Court justice this year, most likely Kennedy.
*We were one vote away from going down the slippery slope of losing our GOD GIVEN precious 2nd Amendment right keep and bears arms.

3. Trump will appoint dozens, probably several hundred judges to the Federal courts. If he gets a second term. The federal courts will go back to the original intent of the founding fathers.

I could go on but keep your head up baw. America IS winning.

The Trump Presidency is literally a dead man walking. Every week a new scandal erupts (after 8 years of a presidency with no scandal that was not trumped up by the far right). The critical mass of Trump's immortality and incompetence is getting too weighty to bear, for most Americans.

There's no way a president can effectively govern in such an environment. The time has come for a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of the Trump/Russia network.
