Any other Trump voter just ready for a special prosecutor/investigation at this point?

Either way I'd rather all this bullshite put to bed. An independent investigation ending up with nothing concrete would sink the Dem narrative and would help bolster Trump in 2020.

at this point, whatever floats their boat
but let's press forward with the business at hand
we don't have to shut down congress for this circus
If it comes to be that Hillary was hacked by Russians, let it be her lesson for others
thank you wikileaks

I think in the interests of transparency, there should be an independent prosecutor. However, it is possible that the appointment of an independent prosecutor could be challenged Constitutionally. It was challenged before, and upheld in Morrison v. Olson. It was challenged on the grounds that Congress's appointment of an independent prosecutor violates separation of powers because it involves the legislative branch taking on executive branch functions outside of proper checks and balances. The practice was upheld, with only Scalia dissenting, but many scholars after the fact have praised Scalia's dissent. It is looked at as prescient, forward looking, and likely legally correct today with the benefit of hindsight. It is very possible that if a similar challenge were to be brought against the Independent Counsel Act that it could be struck down as unconstitutional.

Maybe. It's not like this current climate is appealing either.

There's no such thing as independent.

Sure if it will help, but if it isn't the Russians Dems will find something else.
What is wrong also is the lack of support from the other GOP leadership. There is a man awful lot of cleansing that needs to take place in politics on both sides of the aisle. I just wish there were voters on the left that had the guts to say it.
I am tired of the do nothing GOPe goons.

No, there's not. There'the Crowdstrike assessment that the DNC was hacked by Russian interests. The Ukrainian separatists that own Crowdstrike then wiped the servers to prevent anyone from contradicting their story. That's the only thing we've seen pointing to the Russians.
Assange says it all came from a DNC insider, and unlike Crowdstrike, Assange has never been caught in a lie to further an agenda.
Maybe the intel community has corroborating evidence independent of Crowdstrike but I haven't seen it and you haven't seen it. As of now its he said/she said between Crowdstrike and Assange. Russian involvement is in no way proven.

That's a really weird, wrong, and long winded way of saying that if you're a Trump supporter you're scared shitless of any type of impartial investigation.
Being scared is the one thing Trump supporters are right about.

There is a ton of false narratives but there is no real smoke.
Just smoke and mirrors to hurt Trump.

No one is scared son. I know it soothes you to say it, but you are wrong like usual.

Should have had one from day one after election. We can start with a special prosecutor for HRC, Huma Abedin, Anthony "the sausage" Weiner, Susan Rice, Lois Lerner, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, etc. Heads need to roll on the Dim side of the aisle. Drain this Mutha Frickin swamp Mr. President!!!

No, what I am saying is Trump supporters SHOULDN'T fear an independent prosecutor.
And also, I am sharing an interesting constitutional tidbit about how the act justifying independent prosecutors may or may not sustain a Constitutional challenge because history has looked fondly on Justice Scalia's dissent in Morrison v. Olson much as history favored Justice Harland's Great Dissent in the Civil Rights Cases of the 1870's. Just as Harland's dissent became the majority's opinion in later decisions like Heart of Atlanta Motel, which defeated challenges to portions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Scalia's dissent in Morrison v. Olsen could become tomorrow's majority opinion in a case challenging the Constitutionality of Independent Council.

guess we'll see soon enough... but honest question... what would your thoughts be if in fact it does come back, from independent investigators, that there was something to it and it's proven fact? i'm just really curious to what the line of thinking, from a Trump supporter, would be then.... not flaming, or anything else, i'm asking a real question, and would like a real response....

Yep, I've said it a few times already.
If there was a case for a special counsel it was during the Obama reign.
If that didn't get one this Trump BS really falls short of needing one.
