Factoring in future he might go first, even ahead of AD and KAT. Big men just can't have as much of an impact as wing players.

I will spot you the finals series last year. Is there another series you can name that this was the case? He is really one of the more consistent playoff performers too. The guy was balling before Klay really broke out as a player.

I didn't say he played bad. He is generally great but his numbers tend to decrease in the postseason especially shooting %. Curry is a hard player to rank for me.

We've gone 3 pages without Boom. Is he okay? Should we contact local law enforcement to do a wellness check?

Tier 3 - CP3 and others that take us past 10.

Cop out, I know, but the only real way to do it IMO.
I have no problem with the OP's list or your list... except...

AD should be lower than tier 2. He hasn't even won a playoff game. Yeah, he puts up stats but it hasn't led to winning at all.

I don't see how Giannis and George are better than AD. If you'd say they are more valuable because of todays NBA being better suited for the wing players, then I agree with that. But AD is a better player than those two, and not in his prime. Giannis has insane potential, though.
I have AD behind PG because of the health issues and the fact that PG is that wing player like you mentioned.

I have Giannis over AD mostly because the rate at which he's improving after looking at where he is right now compared to AD. Giannis shoots a higher percentage from the field. And averages 5.4 assists per game to AD's 2.1. And Giannis is "clutch" as hell(final 5 minutes of a game or OT down 5 or less).

I think most players with a large enough sample size well have slightly lower shooting percentage in the playoffs.

If KD had the killer instinct of Harden or Westbrook, he would be on LeBron's level. I truly believe that. Maybe the most unguardable player in the NBA. A guy that tall who can shoot that well is just unfair.

I'll say:

Lebron
KD
Kawhi
Harden/Curry/Westbrook (These three are so damn close)

There is a pretty big dropoff after the Top 6

Giannis
AD
Chris Paul
Paul George or Jimmy Butler maybe? John Wall is close as well.

This bottom 4 is just not even close to the Top 6.

Not really slightly lower. Again Curry is great but he's hard to rank for me. Maybe it's because I watched a guy that nobody has listed and rightfully so , Kyrie, completely work Curry over in the finals last year. When teams ganeplan to attack you on D it tends to dent my view of you.

Was listing by last name.

LeBron James

If you are joking, please disregard the previous sentences

1. LeBron
2. Durant
3. Kawhi
4. Curry
5. Westbrook
6. Harden
7. Davis
8. Paul
9. George
10. Giannis

It's pretty open after 8, IMO.

I think you could rank Curry from 4-10 and I wouldn't argue with it. He's just such a unique player
I agree. He's really hard to rank for me.

Put Lebron on the Bobcats and I could very easily see him doing damn near the exact same shite he does now. After a full season, he'd have guys where he needs them and would be able to manufacture some offense and make guys better like he does.

I think Kyrie would be similar to what he is now if you threw him on the Bobcats. Would he make them better in the sense that they were a threat to win a playoff series? Probably not. But I can envision how he'd fit on the team and what he'd bring.

I have no idea what Curry would bring to that team. I'm not saying he's only good because of what's around him in GS...but his skills are SO perfect for them that I could very easily see him falling off quite a bit. Or, he could be the same...?

Idk. And that's why he's hard to rank for me.

We have a clear cut top 7-8 IMO Bron, Durant, Curry, Kawhi, Westbrook, Harden, Davis, then CP3 Lebron should be the clear #1, but from 2-7 it is super hard to rank.

Agreed. Putting one guy @ 2 and one guy @ 7 implies much more separation than what actually exist.

Exactly. Curry's future is so interesting to me. Believe it or not he's already 29. I want to see him without 2-3 other top 20 players.

Other than swapping CP3 into tier 2 and AD into tier 3, I agree entirely.

Good list IMO. I did this exercise on my own last week just to see where I had Cousins ranked (14th on my list). My list is not very different from yours at all. I had Lillard in my Tier 3 over KAT.

Think you gotta have PG in that tier. Dude can guard too.

I don't think Paul George has any business being in a tier with KD/Kawhi/Westbrook/Harden/AD...or as I'd do it, swap AD with CP3.

2. Durant - elite 2 way player - faults: health
3. Leonard - elite 2 way player - faults: ball handling

5. Westbrook - elite offensively - faults: shot selection
6. Harden - elite offensively - faults: defense
7. Davis - elite 2 way player - faults: health
8. Paul - elite 2 way player - faults: health
9. Giannis - elite 2 way player - faults: inability to shoot
10. George - elite 2 way player - faults: decision making

This is some pretty sound reasoning. I'm a big Paul George fan, but I think you have to put KAT in there ahead of him until George finds a way to put up numbers in a more efficient manner.

I personally wouldn't have either until I watched that Cavs series. He went toe to toe with LBJ. Celts need to move on him something serious.

You could win 70+ games with cocoloco's tier three team and 7 random bench guys of various heights from 6 2 to to 6 9".
