His stock has to be rising and he might hit 20 HRs this year, he has decent plate discipline, and he's fast for being a power guy as well.
I also think that he hasn't even begun to tap his potential. Still has a lot to learn and can mature some as well. He has showed that he can take balls the other way but still tries to pull a little too much and strikes out. He has serious power that I believe can get even better as a pro.

Top 20 pick if he doesn't fall off a cliff

Thats what Im wondering. Power bats go early rounds.

Yea that's the biggest concern he doesn't really have a major league position. His bat is fine he has good power and with good coaching can bring the empty swings down. It's just defense that's the question MLB teams don't really draft position less players and he's been everywhere from SS to outfield since he's been on the radar, that's going to hurt his stock.

And to think the midget almost ran this kid off
Yet Deichman, Robertson, Freeman, and Poche all came back.

He's not wrong in saying Greg K's a lot more but he is wrong in saying Greg's not better. Hes hitting for way more power than fraley ever showed at LSU and has a better average and draws a lot of walks. I even looked up the K's to try and prove him wrong but Fraley's K rate last year was 12.8% and Deichmann's is around 20%

He's better than Fraley and Fraley was the last pick of round 1.
FWIW I just looked it up... Fraley went last pick in the 2nd round. 77th over all. I think Deichman goes right around there, maybe before.

Deichman has a better avg than Fraley? Fraley's career avg was .328 Deichman's is .303, Fraley's season best was .372 Big D's .346 this year. Fraley hit over .300 for 3 seasons Big- D 1 out of 3, this season being the only year he's hit over .300. And an 8% difference in strikeouts is a big difference. Deichman will be fine if he works on a few things and improves his defense but the only thing he has on Fraley is power. Fraley can hit run and is very good in the field while Deichman is strictly a power hitter.
What's with all the shitting on Fraley? I love Deichman but there's noway he's a better all around baseball player than Fraley.

.340 with pop > the 370 singles hitting of Fraley
If you don't think the scouts are drooling over some of the bombs he is hittting from the left side then you are blind. The exit velocity, the opposite field HR. Yea he may not have a position right now but he is a plus runner & also possseses a plus arm. This isn't some big burly power hitter. He is every bit the athlete Fraley was with 2 tools Fraley lacked;power and arm strength

Was using fraleys last year stats and Greg's so far this year and yes GD has a better avg when you're looking at those

There has been a lot of arguments about where he will finish based on what he is doing now. If you take into consideration his tool set, this kid can easily be a first rounder compensatory pick.
He has a
plus plus arm
Plus plus speed
Has gotten a lot better fielding - I think RF is a perfect position for him.
Power is excellent - mph off the bat, etc.
he has grown tremendously in hitting for average especially against lefties. He is driving the ball the opposite way. That is just starting for him.
Based on his tools, he is the riskiest pick, but could reap the most rewards early.
Is he better than Jacoby Jones? Mahtook? Maybe both of those guys with another year if he has improvement like this past season. Just needs more work and an organization that has some patience to allow him to mature as a player.

We were told Fraley was a 5 tool player.
How many does Greg have?

Was it by the same people that tried to sell you beachfront property in Arizona?
To be a 5 tool player you MUST be excellent in all 5
Tools. No exception.
Fraley had a negative arm.
Negative power.
he was a 3 tool player.
Excellent average
Excellent speed
Excellent fielding.
